The Partridge, Stretton

Old world inn beautifully refurbished to maintain its character. Elegant and cosy ambience. Set in large grounds. Plenty of parking. Ease of access from M56.

Temperature control in the bedroom due to lack of air conditioning.

The staff are just wonderful and can't do enough for you. It makes such a lovely change to be welcomed and treated like a guest and not an inconvenience The food was lovely and the bar area clean, presentable and very cosy

I hate being negative but we were given an accessible room which doesn't work for me as the sink is too small and low and the toilet too high. We did ask to be moved but accepted there were no other rooms but if this room was the last available when we booked it should have stated it was an accessible room as I wouldn't have booked it. I have had shoulder surgery earlier this year so can't bend low to reach the sink nor could I use the toilet as it was too high. The other issue was the toilet flush was not working correctly and required multiple attempts to pull it which just put us off using it unless we had to.

Lovely clean big rooms with comfy beds

Nothing negative to say

Super-helpful and attentive staff went the extra mile despite our late arrival. Very comfortable and spacious room. Good separation from popular dining area. Dog-friendly.
