The Smokehouse Hotel & Restaurant Cameron Highlands

Food was delicious, both for dinner and breakfast, although wish we could have more helpings for breakfast. Overall, room was clean, bed was comfortable, place is serene and quiet for a good night's sleep. Lovely walk around the garden. Would definitely stay here again.

Unique old world atmosphere

The full English breakfast could have done just a little better.

Old British Charm, the beautiful garden well curated and green, the location opposite the Golf club that allows for long strols when the weather permits and access to a nearby village with food and Waterfalls. The place, Cameron Highlands is so beautiful, nested among a ray of Mountains with OLD Forests, so much to do if one can hike. Staff were polite and cordial and the room was big confortable and clean. It looks like an apartment, that allows for leasure time if it rains by logging in Netflix and other streaming options. We had a lot of rain so the facilities helped.

Serious renovation is needed. The Old Charming house is beautiful but shabby and the food is honestly average if not bad. We ordered a Ceasar salad, that came with Raw meat, sliced supposedly as for a replacement for Bacon. The Crunchy Meat looked as remnants for cat food. We notified the waiters that looked unphased to be sincere. We were offered a Tourist TOUR for a full day, that was the worst ever experience we had as tourists visiting Butterfly farms that were dirty, old and untaken care of, with poor animals in poor conditions. We were rushed everywhere and the lunch was terrible. I believe such a Hotel should have better organized tours for the visitors, to make sure they leave with a beautiful experience and memory as the space deserves to be remembered.
