Geweldige ontvangst. Ik werd bijzonder vriendelijk ontvangen door de eigenaresse. Ze zou me nog wat adressen van restaurants en uitgaansgelegenheden appen, maar dat is ze waarschijnlijk vergeten. Er lagen koekjes klaar en in de koelkast was zelfs rumpunch voorradig.
In de omgeving van het appartement is weinig te doen. Je kunt goed ontbijten bij de patisserie aan de overkant van de straat. Er zijn overal volop foodtrucks en pizzeria's. Maar restaurants voor lunch of diner zijn in Pointe-a-Pitre nauwelijks te vinden. Het appartement is eenvoudig, maar voldoende voor dit prijsniveau. De zitbank in de woonkamer is "home-made" en zeer oncomfortabel. De vloer van het gehele appartement moet grondig worden gereinigd. Vooral de voegen zijn smerig.

Le 31 déc et 1 janvier beaucoup de magasins et restaurants sont fermés ...suite à des demandes diverses d'informations...nous avons eu la surprise se trouver 2 menus complets traditionnels pour le 31 déc dans le réfrigérateur ! Un grand merci. Si vous devez rester à Pointe à pitre, le quartier est calme.
