About this house rental
Walk out to the Mohican River and LAUNCH or JUMP RIGHT IN! After sleeping comfortably in our 3-bed, 2-bathroom home with Central Air Conditioning located on 1.22 acres on Wally Rd. Scenic Byway, pick your activity. We have a private backyard with steps leading to the river to launch or load your own canoes, kayaks, or tubes right into the river. (We offer air to inflate your tubes at our home.) There is plenty of riverfrontage for fishing, swimming, floating, wading, or just watching others play. Sit on the Redneck Deck that overhangs the river. We even have an outside flushing restroom, so you don't have to leave the water for long!
If it rains, we have you covered with a fully covered back porch facing the river with 3 picnic tables and lounging deck furniture.
In the house, we can sleep 8 with a queen bed in the Master, a double bed in the back bedroom, and trundle bed (two twin beds) in the smaller bedroom, and a pullout couch in the living room.
We are less than 2 miles from Mohican Adventures and less than 3 miles from the Mohican State Park. It is a nice drive to Amish Country if you are a shopper! After playing in the river for the day, we offer a welcoming fire pit to make s'mores and watch the stars. We offer gas and charcoal grills. Enjoy a nice meal on the spacious "Redneck" deck overhanging the river.
We hope you get to see a crane or an Eagle fly overhead. We have a large side yard that allows for frisbee, a game of kickball or soccer. Our game room in the garage can be a safe haven on a rainy day with a pool table, foosball, and tabletop shuffleboard.
COVID-19 Cleaning: Our cleaning process between groups has been enhanced per recommendations of the CDC, including disinfection of all high-touch surfaces in the household common areas (ie: tables, hard-backed chairs, doorknobs, light switches, remotes, handles, etc.) This will be our standard.

The home was spotless, beautiful location, riverfront with a fire pit and deck. Host was very accommodating, great place for a get together.

The house is very clean, the kitchen is the most equipped kitchen I have ever seen. The house is close to the river and has views from some of the rooms The fire pit, deck and outdoor bathroom is a great feature. The garage has pool table, shuffle board, foosball table, corn hole and other stuff. The host is very friendly and helpful, We have stayed there a number of times and hope to again.
