About this house rental

Riverfront Vacation Home with hot tub with 4 Bedrooms and 2 Full Bathrooms located on 1 acre on the Wally Road Scenic Byway. Home features sweeping views of the Mohican River from the raised deck. Views of river can also be seen from the Kitchen and Living Room windows, the two downstairs bedrooms, from the patio and basically any where in the back yard. We are located just 6 miles down river from Mohican Adventures and 7 miles from the main entrance to Mohican State Park.

I think rental is over priced. The railings on the upstairs deck was very old and unstable. Parts of the floor felt weak on deck as well. The driveway is difficult and dangerous to pull out of because you cannot see on coming traffic. The cabin itself was nice. Very roomy, well stocked kitchen.

Smooth check in, accurate listing, responsive host. Location is beautiful and serene. We loved coffees in the morning overlooking the river and bonfires in the evening. We did the River Run 7.5 mile kayak trip, which drops off 1 property down and is so convenient to not have to wait for the bus. (It took us 3 hrs barely paddling if you are curious). Also just 10 minutes to Landoll's Castle and nearby several nice hiking trails in Mohican. Only complaints would be the strong sulfur odor of the water, which some folks struggled with for showering. Also Internet access was a bit spotty as noted. Other than that this is a great spot for basecamp while exploring the area. Would recommend.

We had a great stay on the river. The house was clean and the kitchen stocked with everything we needed. We also loved the location…. Minutes away from putt putt , hiking , and a nice winery . It was fun sitting outside watching people float down the river in their canoes and kayaks. Check in was also easy . Great stay !

We were a group of 8 high school friends now in our upper years and found Riverview Lodge to be a beautiful piece of property and a well-equipped, comfortable place to stay.The only negative was the difficulty finding it. Mailbox was almost hidden and described as being across the street which it wasn’t and there were no identifying address numbers. We passed the place several times before finding it. Also, don’t plan on doing anything on Mondays, because a lot of places are closed.

Thank you for a wonderful 4th of July weekend trip. The house was great. It was clean and as listed. We enjoyed the top deck overlooking the river for all our meals. We would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking for a great spot!

This beautiful place was as advertised. Had a fire all day right by the river while relaxing and hanging out with friends. Was able to grill dinner every night on the propane grill provided. So much room for larger groups. 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, beautiful kitchen and two large living areas / rooms! I will be back!

This property was the perfect getaway. The home has been completely renovated and is clean, bright, and decorated very tastefully with modern decor and furniture. The kitchen is fully equipped and sat the 7 of us comfortably. The hot tub was awesome, clean and with the right amount of choribe. 7 of us just fit. The beds were very comfortable. The view from this house is outstanding, overlooking the Mohican River. We'd all love to return and experience what this property has to offer in the summer. Hiking in the State Park was only 10 min away and was so pretty in the winter. The fairly steep first hill warmed is up for the rest of the way. Finally, toy have to get pizza from the local restaurant, Trails End, just 10 min away! We would highly recommend staying here!modem

We stayed for 2 nights between Christmas and New Years and it was delightful. Great space with large basement great room (ping pong and lounge space) plus access to the river right in the back yard. We would definitely go back.

We had a great time at the lodge! It was very cold, so we played board games and watched movies. The setup is great for both, very clean and laid out well.The porch and location on the river would be amazing in the summer time! Make sure to bring drinking water if you don't like the taste of well water, there is an RO system as well that we used for morning coffee. Overall, great location, excellent communication from Drew, would be perfect for a family retreat or big group of friends.

We used the Riverview cabin to spend a slow weekend with our family before Christmas. This cabin had plenty of space for us as well as a variety of sleeping accommodations. The hot tub was great with an amazing view! The kids have already asked if we can come back this summer to play in the river!

My friends and I just spent the weekend there and it was a great time. It is right on the river with plenty of yard space for activities We enjoyed the Hot Tub on a cool night and the deck space was perfect for hanging out and enjoying the view. There is a ton of space so you don't feel like you are right on top of each other and there are all the creature comforts you could need. I would highly recommend it and will definitely be booking again.

Did a girl’s trip with 3 high school friends. The home was roomy; we each had our own bedroom which was great. The beds were super comfortable and was probably the best mattress I’ve slept on at a Vrbo. The house was clean and everything was in good working order. This is a wonderful place to stay right on the river! The house was clean and spacious. We especially enjoyed sitting out in the deck in the morning drinking our coffee and enjoying our meals while over looking the water and listening to the sounds of nature. The fire pit was the perfect place hang out in the evening. We would love to return.
