Spacious for 2 people, unique accommodation, loved the style, like being transported back in time with all the modern day facilities.

What an amazing apartment! So quirky with its decor. Every day you find something new that you’d not spotted before that brought a smile to your face. The apartment was very well equipped and spacious. The hosts were really responsive and had thought about what you need. It was great to sit in the lounge at the end of the day with the doors open, a gin and tonic, and the sun streaming in. It made a great base for exploring the area. We parked the car and never used it again for our stay. It’s 10-15 minutes walk into town. There’s a bus stop right outside the door. You can catch the hourly bus to Woolacombe. We did that and walked back along the coast. About 8 miles and very up and down. Walking poles strongly recommended. You have to stop at The Grampus pub in Lee on the way. Really nice old pub. Walking the other way in Woolacombe along the beach and up to Baggy Point is an easier walk. Ilfracombe also has lots of walks to explore. Lots of great places to eat and drink. The George and Dragon is a great pub to spend an evening. Very friendly and good food. We had a great stay and would highly recommend it.

Location ok and the parking was good. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good

There was no breakfast provided only freeze dried coffee and tea bags . No milk The sofa was very uncomfortable and every where was painted in very dark colours which made the lounge very dark. I know it was decorated in a Victorian style but we found it quite oppressive. It was very hard to find anywhere to place toiletries in the bathroom.
