Gardeners Cottage

We had a lovely stay. Location was very good (March) perfect base, nice and secluded. I suspect it might be busier at other times of the year. The woods felt like they were our own, easy access from the estate to public footpaths and to beaches. Nice welcome touches, daffodills, loo rolls, washing up/kitchen items, logs for the fire etc. Plenty of additional heating if needed.

Water pressure was poor in the shower. Driveway onto estate is very poor and needs some tlc, but this did look like it was potentially planned as roadstone visable around area. Couldn't find a mop, that would have been usefull and a short hose for outdoor tap would be a great addition for helping keep pets clean, but there was a bucket. Some simple directions of locations/where to pick up the footpaths left in property would be usefull, but we did work it out with the help of google. The staircase is a little tricky for a big footed clumsy gal like me but I managed, wouldn't necessarily suit the infirm though. These things to note would not put me off booking again though.

I really appreciated the prompt response and team effort to try to resolve a minor issue at the property; everyone went over and above to resolve this and kept me informed on things from start to finish. Thanks all x Underfloor heating in bathroom was a welcome treat. Great location, secluded yet not too far from attractions on Ynys Mon.

I couldn't find the cottage upon arrival even following the directions provided. Neither could the engineer who came to work at the premises. A simple sign post would really help.. Cooking facilities were basic as expected. Could do with more chopping boards, trays that fitted the baby belly and knives to be sharp. Shame the Rayburn wasn't on yet but it was a mild October so understand - plenty of plug in radiators to keep us warm.
