Gwlgri - an apartment that sleeps 8 guests in 4 bedrooms

FIRSTLY WE FOUND THE BED LINEN AND BATHROOMS CLEAN ... HOWEVER THE KITCHEN WAS NOT ... THE CUPBOARDS WERE VERY GRUBBY .. I DIDN'T PUT ANY OF MY FOOD ITEMS AWAY ... I WAS NOT PREPARED TO CLEAN THEM BEFORE I USED THEM ! THE CUTLERY DRAWER HAD HAIRS IN IT .. THE PLASTIC DRAINER WAS VERY DIRTY .. I PUT IT OUT OF USE AS IT WAS VERY UNHYGIENIC AS WERE THE NUMEROUS MUGS THAT WERE CHIPPED AND CLEARLY HAD BEEN FOR A LONG TIME AS THE CHIPS WERE BROWN / BLACK WITH GRIME ... I SERIUOSLY DO NOY UNDERTAND WHY THEY WERE EVEN IN THE CUPBOARDS !! OTHER BOWLS PLATES ALSO CHIPPED ?? THE CHOPPING BOARDS WERE A DISGRACE ... THE ONE I DID FIND TO USE I HAD TO STERILSE WITH BOILING WATER .. WE DIDN'T USE ANY ITEM FROM THE CUPBOARDS WITHOUT WASHING IT FIRST, THAT SHOULDN'T BE NECESSARY .. THE FLOOR WAS VERY DIRTY .. WHY ? THE WIDOWS WERE FILTHY .. AGAIN WHY ? WE HAD TO TOP THE BOILER UP SO IT WORKED .. AS WE HAVE OIL HEATING AT HOME WE KNEW WHAT TO DO THE SO CALLED LOGS FOR THE LOG BURNER WERE ACTUALLY PIECES OF ROTTING TIMBERS ? THE CARPETS WEREN'T REALLY VACUUMED WELL ... NOT SURPRISING WITH A HENRY THOUGH .. THE ANSWER WOULD I RECOMMEND WOULD BE GET IT PROPERLY CLEANED THEN YES AS I FOUND IT NO .. CLEANLINESS SHOULD BE PARAMOUNT ... ALSO THE POTS OUTSIDE THE FRONT ENTRACE ARE AS SCRUFFY AS ... IF YOU CAN'T BE BOTHERED TO HAVE THEM MAINTAINED DON'T HAVE THEM AT ALL ? ! YOU DID ASK !!

Great base for local beaches, love it! Will definitely stay again. Had grandson with us for first time and cot and high chair were great.

Brilliant property, well furnished with plenty of kitchen utensils and appliances. Everything you need and with Comfy beds. I would highly recommend.

Gwlgri is a peaceful farmhouse suitable for up to 8 people. The downstairs bedroom and bathroom so useful for those who cannot 'do' stairs. The kitchen is well appointed and a pleasure to be in. Gwlgri is very safe for children and there is plenty of parking. Church Bay is a 5 minute drive away from where there is a superb cafe and restaurant. On the way to the bay is a pub called the Church Bay Inn...a lovely place to see the sun set. This part of Anglesey is good walking country with plenty of coastal paths. I would highly recommend Gwlgri and the service that Coastal Holidays provide.

Lovely cottage in a quiet location with beautiful surroundings. Everything you need. Plenty of home comforts made our stay even better.
