A pleasant property in a suitable location, just a touch expensive for the end of September.

Comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Really nice village for a short stay. House info was good and we loved the favourite pub recommendation. Good size bedrooms. Nice bed linen. Kitchen well stocked, a few tea bags would be good. If no welcome pack.

Cobwebs on the outside furniture. Outside space was a little grotty. Inside table was cramped for 4 people to dine. As an ex fire safety officer, I would recommend that escape is available via a first floor window, considering main egress is via the kitchen. Smoke/heat detection is good.

Good location for walkers, maybe best for couple and not for four in a hot spell.

Clean and in a pretty location

Top attic bedroom was impossible to move around unless on your knees due to sloping ceiling- the weather was hot during our stay and there was no method to cool it. A pedestal fan would have made a huge difference. Neither of the local numbers supplied were answered when I tried to call and neither number allowed me to text or leave a message. The dead plant in the rusty pot screwed to the wall by the front door made a bad first impression.

A lovely location central to the Peak Park

Rough concrete around the cottage is tripping hazard and poor outside lighting Tiny kitchen with far too large and clumsy a bench. A table and four stackable chair would be far better. Would be better to warn guests that the stairs are very steep.

Excellent stay at a cosy, clean and well equipped cottage.

We loved the layout of the rooms and the cosy living room gave us the cottage feel and ambiance we were looking for. The kitchen was fully equipped with everythig we needed and it was great to have a dishwasher too! The place was exceptionally clean and tidy and we appreciated the excellent heating duing February. The location was within the lovely village of Bradwell with its supermarket and deli and we made trips to Castleton and Bakewell. I really liked the master bedroom - very spacious and relaxing.

The back door had to be pushed hard to open and close as it seemed to be sticking. Also, we couldn't use the open fire due to no firelighters.

Exceptional

A lovely well kept cottage, in an ideal location with all you need for a weekend or longer stay. Nice and quiet, 2 large bedrooms, we really enjoyed our star at Cherry Tree cottages.

The symbols on the oven had rubbed off so it was hard to distinguish the temperature and settings. Also a bin in the bathroom or somewhere upstairs would of been ideal.

Gold but Cold

Very clean, nice shower, lovely log burner, great location with beautiful views from the window.

Maybe there could have been a few more logs for the burner as a complimentary for this time of the year? We only had 4 in the basket. The property was very cold.. We upped the thermostat to 19 degrees but half an hour later was back to 13 degrees everytime. Also the duvets were very thin so you could feel the cold every night therefore the nights with the temperature outside being so low we're hard and very uncomfortable. .

A beautiful cottage in a beautiful village.

Beautiful cottage, very clean, very cosy with a lovely log burner and excellent shower in a beautiful village. Pub literally 100 metres, walks from the door of your cottage if you wish.

There is nothing to say that I did not like.

We arrived at the cottage, which is of average standard, dirty bedding on the floor, food in the sink, someone else’s food in the fridge. The whole property had not been cleaned. Owner reluctant to even return a percentage of our first night for the inconvenience blaming the booking company. Appalling customer service. I would not return and advise you not to book.

Beautiful countryside, sweet little cottage in an idyllic village. Comfy and warm, pleasant decor, easy to use facilities. Sunny aspect garden with benches and chairs to sit outside.

Kitchen bench/chair thing - seats uncomfortable and in the way of the fridge!
