Bank Cottage

The property was lovely, we haven’t stayed at many cottages but towels being provided was a bonus. The provision of tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits, body wash, liquid soap in the bathroom, shampoo and conditioner were comparable to staying in a hotel. The provision of washing up liquid, soap dispenser in the kitchen, tablets for washing machine and dishwasher were all very thoughtful. The property was comfortable, immaculate and well maintained.

There was a bit of a downside reference parking, there was a red van and a grey van parked permanently opposite the cottage neither of which moved throughout our stay. We parked opposite the White Lion when looking for the property which was pointed out to us, when we mentioned parking by the White Lion we were told it gets very busy, the gentleman did point out parking next to the cottage which he said no one from the houses there used, we did park there without any problem.

Loved this beautiful cosy cottage as did my family, we had a lovely week there and looked forward to going back to the cottage after lots of walks and enjoying the village and surrounding areas. Local shop nearby was handy for food, the cottage was well equipped and a lovely welcome of tea, coffee and biscuits among other essentials provided was such a nice touch! The beds were super comfy and the shower was lovely too.

The location to amenities was excellent.
