Casa amigavel da Terra

it was a modern spacious property with lots of balconies and terraces. there was plenty of room for two families. it was a very quiet road/ witha neighbourhood with no noises at nighttime. shutters on every window meant we didn’t have to worry about bringing blackout blinds for babies.

the walk down to the beach is 10 mins but going back up it is longer, we often had to take an uber with two buggies and a baby the very steep hill climb back up was not great. it meant when we left we rarely came back during the day, we couldn’t just pop back there during the day. There were not enough chairs in the living room area for the size of property. For 4 adults, two of us always had to sit on the bean bag chairs, the kids had to sit on the floor. The Wi-Fi did not work in all rooms so the range wasn’t great. You had to buy your own bin bags and toilet roll once you ran out. There were no shampoos and shower gels provided.

Very nice location in the hills of Sesimbra. 4 full bedrooms with very good beds.

This apartment is huge, perfect for a family of 8 people and it is beautifully decorated. All bedrooms have a balcony and there are also 2 big terraces. Kitchen is equipped with all the basic stuff, enough to cook at home. Location is good, surroundings are very quiet and it is located about 750m away from Praia do Ouro. The way back to the house from the beach is a bit steep though. The hostess is very kind, responsive and very flexible (we were able to check-in and check-out a bit outside of the normal schedule). Plenty of parking places right in front of the building.

Just one minor point: despite pets not being allowed at this property, some of the neighbors did have dogs in the terraces and they were very noisy paeticularly at night.

Casa da Terra lies on the hills of sunny sesimbra as if it had been there since the dawn of time. The light fills every spacious room as if it was a fellow roommate. Elegant decour, creating an inviting space were you Will spend amazing moments Jade was tireless in making everything to our liking and we cant thank her enough I urge everyone to delight on everything this region and this stay has to oferece
