About this villa rental
Villa was originally built in the 1600s and renovated first in 2005 and again in 2019, the villa has all modern amenities but retains old-world charm and elegance. Situated on a small hill with commanding views of sunflower fields, olive groves, wheat fields, rolling hills, and the ancient Castle of Casigliano. The villa is in a very private location, but only a 15-minute drive from historic Todi and Acquasparta. Famous Umbrian cities (Spoleto, Orvieto, Perugia, Assisi, Terni) and parts of Tuscany are only a 30 to 60-minute drive away. Villa is just 90 minutes from Rome Fiumicino airport.
Villa has 6 King bedrooms each with its own private bathroom. Lovely, yet comfortably, furnished so that several couples or families with children will all feel at home.
The property has a regulation-size Bocce court, an outdoor pizza oven & barbecue, and a ping pong table. Lavender bushes surround the pool, which has commanding views. It is well stocked with kitchen equipment, extra linens, pool towels, puzzles, books, and outdoor furniture. Linens & towels are provided.
Enjoy multiple living rooms, two fireplaces, a large dining room, and four outdoor pergolas perfect for long evening meals while watching the sunset. Unparalleled 360-degree panoramic views of Umbrian countryside may mean you won’t want to leave!
Small weddings/events are welcome; we are happy to provide recommendation for caterers.

Our stay at this beautiful villa in the Umbrian hills was nothing short of perfect. The property is stunning and welcoming, providing a cozy atmosphere that immediately made us feel at home. The villa is ideally located, with many charming villages and scenic spots just a short drive away, offering plenty of opportunities for delightful day trips and exploration.The house manager, Francesco, was incredibly kind and attentive, always available to assist with any queries and offering excellent recommendations for local attractions and restaurants. Their warm hospitality truly made our experience even more special. The villa itself is well-appointed with all the amenities one could wish for, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay for everyone, including the children.This villa was the perfect setting for our New Year’s holiday with family and friends. We enjoyed the spacious and beautifully decorated interiors, as well as the lovely outdoor areas where we could unwind and take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding hills. Our children had a fantastic time playing in the garden and exploring the nearby countryside.Highly recommended for anyone seeking a serene and enchanting getaway, this villa exceeded all our expectations and provided a wonderful backdrop for creating lasting memories. We can’t wait to return!

We decided to take a totally unscripted family/friends vacation and chose this property for our home base. It is 400 years old and part of the charm is considering all the people and history associated with it. The location is quiet, peaceful and beautiful. It is spacious and well appointed and is a short drive to many beautiful Umbrian hill towns, restaurants and historical attractions. The property manager, Francesco, was wonderful to deal with from check in to departure and Clara, the housekeeper and cook is a delight to be around. Our one month stay seemed to fly by and everyone who joined us during the month thoroughly enjoyed it!

This house is perfect for staying with friends and family. The views are beautiful and the house is very well maintained and kitchen well stocked with all equipment required. The cupboard to help yourself to if you’d forgotten any essentials was a really lovely touch.
Tracy and Francesco could not have been more accommodating in answering questions and checking in with us whilst we stayed.
We cannot recommend this house more - a really great place to stay.
