Very comfortable

Very comfortable room, we stayed #1 with 2 single beds together. Room plenty big enough to relax. Bicycles stored in back shed. Large bathroom. Furniture very old which I loved. Was very warm temperature in room even with heaters off which was ok in September. Might be hot in summer with no air cond. Hot shower with good pressure. New bathroom. Loved the restaurant downstairs for quality food st reasonable prices for breakfast lunch and dinner. Would certainly recommend. Staff very friendly.

Excellent location between the coast and cities of Sluis and Brugge. Very lovely small town with good walks for my dogs.

Great overnight

Friendliness on arrival. Cosy garden, drinks on the terrace. Attention to details. Comfy bed, great rain shower. Well cooked bacon & eggs for breakfast. Crispy croissants, delicious bread & coffee. We cycled from Middelkerke to Aardenburg, this was the perfect stopover. Would strongly recommend it!

Friendly family-run hotel with good felicities.

A very friendly family-run hotel in the middle of village. The small kitchen in the room offers very convenience during the Corona time when no restaurants were open. Breakfast was brought to room and has rich variations. Bed is great, room is clean and space. Everything is good.

Thuis gevoel

We hebben echt een geweldig verblijf gehad in hotel ’s Lands Welvaren en bij restaurant Oest. Vanaf het eerste mailtje voelde alles al heel persoonlijk en vriendelijk aan. Je merkt meteen dat ze graag meedenken en dat niets te veel gevraagd is. Tijdens onze eerste lunch waren ze ontzettend begripvol en flexibel rond allergieën en intoleranties. Mijn vriend kon zijn gerecht gewoon op de “normale” manier krijgen, terwijl ze voor mij met evenveel zorg een aangepaste versie maakten. Beide gerechten waren super lekker. Wat voor mij nog het meest betekende: ik heb me geen seconde een last gevoeld of anders behandeld. Alles gebeurde met zoveel vanzelfsprekendheid dat je je echt gezien en welkom voelt. Op zaterdag werden we bediend door twee super vriendelijke dames die echt het verschil maakten. Hun warmte, aandacht en oprechte vriendelijkheid gaven ons meteen een heel fijn gevoel. Op zondag zijn we nog gaan lunchen, en ook daar werden we opnieuw fantastisch geholpen. De jongen achter de bar heeft ons super goed geserveerd en is echt een meerwaarde voor de zaak. Je voelt dat hij zijn werk met plezier doet, en dat straalt af op de hele ervaring. Het was ook de verjaardag van mijn vriend, en de kleine attentie op de kamer – een lief kaartje en een gratis consumptie – maakte het allemaal nog specialer. Zulke kleine dingen tonen gewoon hoeveel aandacht ze hebben voor hun gasten. Het hele hotel ademt gezelligheid: de bar, het restaurant, de kamers… overal hangt een warme sfeer. Ze denken ook heel ruim mee over wat er in de buurt te doen is, het hele jaar door. Je krijgt geen standaardlijstje, maar echt tips waar je iets aan hebt. We hebben daarnaast fijne gesprekken gehad over hun visie op allergieën en intoleranties. Het is duidelijk dat ze dit onderwerp serieus nemen en dat ze willen dat iedereen zich comfortabel voelt. Dat maakt zo’n verschil. En misschien wel het mooiste: je voelt aan alles dat de mensen hier graag werken.

Het enige dat mij tegen stak waren de bedden. Dat we geen kamer konden boeken met één 2persoonsmatras. Waardoor we het gevoel hadden dat we appart sliepen.

De oprechte vriendelijkheid van alle medewerkers in het hotel/restaurant. En het heerlijke eten, hier kunnen ze echt goed een stuk vlees bereiden! De mevrouw bij het ontbijt was een fantastische gastvrouw.
