About this apartment rental
Our BeachBaseOne stands out as a modern, very cozy, and immaculately maintained vacation rental. As soon as you step inside the apartment, you’ll immediately feel that beach vibe. The spacious entryway, featuring an open, large kitchen (fully equipped!), offers our guests direct access to the chic, newly renovated bathroom and two living/bedrooms.
In the smaller living area—usually used as a children’s room—you’ll find a two-level pull-out sofa bed along with a wardrobe, a cozy beanbag chair, and a flat-screen TV.
The large living room features an exclusive fold-out bed with a 160 cm queen-size mattress, various wardrobes and dressers, as well as a dining table and a large, very comfortable family sofa. Finally, this room also offers direct access to the spacious terrace, which is fully equipped for relaxing, sunbathing (in the summer, you’ll have direct sunlight here from about 10:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.!!!), and dining together. The terrace offers a view of a lawn and features a side view of the ocean.
After all, the ocean is only about 250 meters away.
Last winter, we completely modernized the apartment once again, repainted it, and gave it a much more maritime feel.
Tourist tax:
The tourist tax on Fehmarn is €2 per day from May 15 to September 14; otherwise, it is €1. It is mandatory for all adults. Children and teenagers are exempt from the visitor’s tax. You pay the visitor’s tax upon arrival and will receive your “Ostseecards” in exchange.
With the Ostseecard, you receive free access to the beach on Fehmarn and on the mainland, as well as discounted prices at many attractions.

Angefangen von der guten Kommunikation mit den Vermietern, der kulanten und entgegenkommenden Art und Weise bis über die stilvolle und top eingerichtete Wohnung, haben wir alles bekommen, was wir brauchten. Mehr noch, denn die Ausstattung bot mehr als erwartet. Die Lage war ebenso wunderbar. Da wir im Herbst vor Ort waren und wir viel Regen hatten, konnten wir die Terrasse nicht nutzen. Bein gutem Wetter stelle ich es mir herrlich vor draußen zu frühstücken/zu liegen. Alles da.

Die Wohnung liegt in einem Gebäude mit ca. 50 Wohnungen, was vielleicht aus der Beschreibung nicht unmittelbar ersichtlich ist. Dies war für uns allerdings kein Problem, da die Wohnung im Parterre liegt und es vom Hauseingang bis zur Wohnungstür nicht einmal 10 Meter sind und da man aufgrund der massiven Bauweise von den anderen Bewohnern quasi nichts mitbekommt.
Die Wohnung ist frisch renoviert und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, man braucht eigentlich nichts von zuhause mitzubringen, es ist alles da!
Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war sehr angenehm und unkompliziert, wir haben sogar Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants bekommen, von denen wir nicht enttäuscht wurden.
Fazit: unbedingt empfehlenswert
