A vacation at the “Marina View Apartment” means a vacation in a prime location, on one of the most beautiful beaches on the Baltic Sea. The choice is yours—relax on the fine-sand Südstrand, explore Germany’s “Sun Island” and its sights, stroll through Burg, or enjoy the view of the marina from the apartment.

The vacation apartment is located on the first floor of a 5-story building in the historic vacation village designed by the famous designer and architect Arne Jacobsen. The complex on the South Beach in Burgtiefe is a prime example of the functional modernist architecture championed by Jacobsen.
The vacation community is surrounded by water on three sides: to the north is the marina, to the west is the entrance to the Burgstaaken fishing port, and to the south is Fehmarn’s widest and most beautiful sandy beach. The marina, with its circular pier, and the fantastic South Beach are each only about 180 m away.

Within walking distance, you’ll find a bakery whose delicious rolls will make your breakfast even better. In addition, there’s a general store at the marina and along the beach promenade where you can find all the essentials you need for daily life.
The FehMare water park, also located on the South Beach, offers a great “beach vibe” even in slightly rougher weather, thanks to its ocean view and seawater wave pool.

Beach
It’s only about 180 meters from the Marina View Apartment to the beach. - The fantastic South Beach is supervised by the DLRG and is within the coverage area of the Fehmarn municipality’s public Wi-Fi. Right next to the beach, you’ll find restaurants, cafés, playgrounds, restrooms, showers, and a baby-changing room.

Parking / Bicycle
The apartment comes with a designated parking space available to you free of charge during your stay. A bicycle rack is located right at the building entrance

Wellness / Laundromat
At the marina, about 150 m away, you’ll find a laundromat with washing machines and dryers. Within walking distance of the apartment is “FehMare,” a seawater wave and water park with a sauna that is open year-round Use of the swimming pool and laundromat is subject to a fee

Right in front of the apartment lies the “Burger Binnensee,” one of Germany’s best surfing spots, featuring a surf school and equipment rental run by the famous Charchulla twins. – At the “Marina View Apartment,” you’re right in the middle of it all. – What’s on your mind? – Fishing, diving, surfing, kitesurfing, sailing, golf, bocce, beach volleyball, geocaching, horseback riding, tennis, or rock climbing—or perhaps a visit to a restaurant or a tour of Fehmarn’s many attractions
