The apartment was so-so at best. The photos make it look much nicer, almost fancy but you get what you pay for, hence the modest price. The primary issue was cleanliness. We prefer to stay with private hosts that are renting apartments owned by the hosts, but sometimes, in some locations, we give the big companies a chance and we are almost always disappointed. This apartment is managed by a big company and was filthy when we arrived (see photos). Ironically, they had a sticker on the entrance floor, requesting guests to remove their shoes before entering. We didn't ask the host to come do a proper clean during our two night visit because our expectation is that it will be properly cleaned before we arrive. Hoovering/vacuuming and mopping is supposed to happen after every guest--full stop. Our other complaint was about the beds. There were two beds in this apartment. One was moderately comfortable with a medium firmness. The second was astronomically softer (closer to a soft waterbed) and very uncomfortable. These details point back to the lack of attention to detail by big companies. The big companies can be great, but if cleanliness and/or quality is slightly important to you, be sure to diligently research before booking. On the positive side, the host was friendly and quick in their communication.

We didn’t like that the apartment was far less clean than expected, especially for a professionally managed property. The beds were also inconsistent in quality, with one being extremely soft and uncomfortable. Overall, the stay reflected a lack of attention to detail and care.
