The key was in the lockbox. It had two bedrooms. It was in an excellent area

The parking badge was not in the lockbox. It was Sunday and we could not contact anyone. We left a message and nobody phoned us, even on Monday morning. We eventually got hold of the managemnet company at lunchtime the next day and they told us the cleaners had forgotten to leave the parking badge. We had to phone them as they never returned our call, despite us leaving messages. The parking cost us euro22.80. The property was advertises as having free parking, which was why we rented this place. I sent the charge on my credit card, along with my details but they did not respond, nor refund the money. Fraud, if you ask me. Most of our time in Chartres was spent trying to find parking and getting hold of this hopeless management company. I now believe they should refund our whole stay. The interior of apartment is obviously run by a management company. It is tired looking and offers minimum extras. Inside the front door, there is a set of theatre seats which looks like they belong to the neighbours. You have to enter one at a time, especially when you have bags, as there is so little room. We stayed in 9 different places on our trip to France. They were all excellent except this one, which was abysmal. Our time in Chartres, despite seeing the wonderful cathedral, was totally taken up with trying to sort out this mess As an example of lack of the maintenance not being done at this apartment, we found the toilet seat needed fixing, as it slid around when you sat on it. The cleaners would have seen this every time they cleaned the place. How simple to just get a crescent and tighten two bolts. This typified the whole feeling of the place.

Perfect for a family of four and we loved exploring Chartres from such a central location!

The parking was a short walk away, however we didn't use the car the whole time we were there!

We had a lovely stay

Was very homely, old but in fitting with the age of the apartment. A castle-like turret was in the back yard!

It can’t be helped but the noise of the toilet flushing upstairs was exceptionally loud, especially late at night

a charming and very spacious French apartment in the heart of Chartres

very large property, charming design. there is a terrace and a very well equipped (although a bit small) kitchen. the house is clean and tidy, and there was even a washing machine! it was great to have a card to access the underground parking (for free).

it is an old (but very charming) house so plumbing might appear noisy to some guests (especially at night) but we did not mind. Bathroom tiles need some love as well but overall it was a lovely apartment

Beautiful apartment with lovely terrace. Felt really comfortable, wished we were staying longer than one night.

The free parking was not suitable for a vw van due to height so we struggled to stop and drop bags off and then find parking as we have a baby. This was a little stressful as we were travelling but was resolved soon enough.

Great stay in a beautiful town, experience the walk of the labyrinth on a Tuesday evening at 20:00

The property is in a back-end street, which takes you away from the hustle and bustle of the street and town. All the basic needs are met for us. The beds were incredibly good! We had a cat in the area who came to visit us in the morning and evening. I was in contact with the host(s) and they were immensely helpful. The city people are extremely helpful and friendly unlike some towns in France. On Tuesday night we did the walk around the labyrinth of the Cathedral (bare foot), which is a once in a lifetime feeling (pun intended).

No dishwasher The cleaning was not done as it should have been (found dirt on counters and some chips on the ground). The cleaning lady was still there when we arrived, and couldn't speak French, German or English which was difficult, but she was very friendly). Take some towels and things for the bathroom, as it is provided but limited. The washing area was not practical, but that is a matter of personal opinion.

It is an old building with a creative layout and a lovely patio overlooking a turret . It is a short walk from Chartres Cathedral and surrounded with restaurants.

There was no soap in the bathroom, only one roll of toilet paper, and the ceiling light did not work in one bedroom.

Great comfortable base to explore Chartres

Excellent location, atmospheric ground floor apartment next to a big old tower. Great base to explore Chartres on foot (about 8 minutes walk to cathedral). It is next to a lively square but super quiet at night. Parking very near and included.

The outdoor terrace could be made a bit more inviting with a few plants or paint (but we enjoyed having lunch outside nevertheless).

L'accès au parking avec le QRCode n'a pas été facile, nous avons du faire au personnel du parking qui nous ont ouvert sans problème.

La cuisine manque d’ustensiles (plus que trois fourchettes pour quatre personnes), une tourtière serait la bienvenue , les verres sont dépareillés et plus de cafetière à filtre. J'avais envoyé un message pour avoir des renseignements mais pas de réponses! Carrelage cassé et dejointé dans le coin cuisine, poignée du réfrigérateur cassée. Vaisselle pas très propre à notre arrivée. Un manque total d’isolation avec l’appartement du dessus. on entend tout (bruits de pas, chasse d’eau, douche). les conduits d’eau ne sont manifestement pas du tout isolés. Il y avait une odeur de cigarette dans les chambres! Des commentaires déjà notifiés par d'autres personnes.

Chartres ist eine Reise wert. Gerne wieder. Aber nicht in diesem Appartment und mit diesem Anbieter.

Wir hatten die Unterkunft gebucht, da wir in Chartres einige Tage verbringen wollten. Gut war die Lage in der Nähe der Innenstadt. Das Appartment war auch recht groß (für 2 Leute) und dafür auch preislich auch angemessen.

Als wir ankamen, war der Vorraum (der nur zu diesem Appartement gehört) verschmutzt, ebenso ein Handtuch, Obstschale war schmutzig, etc. Nachdem wir das moniert hatten, kamen 3 Frauen, die nochmals eine Reinigung durchführten, Handtuch tauschten, etc. Den angebotenen kostenlosen Parkplatz im angrenzenden Hotel konnten wir zu einem Ausflug erst nach ca einer Stunde Aufenthalt am Ausgang verlassen, da weder der Code zum Verlassen des Parkhauses, noch die Karte für das Parkhaus funktionierte. Die Parkwächter, die uns dann geholfen haben, meinten dazu: Der Code ist auf den "Eigentümer" ausgestellt, deshalb funktioniert das nicht. Ab dem Zeitpunkt mussten wir dann schon bei der Einfahrt ins Parkhaus ein Parkticket ziehen und für den Rest des Auftenhaltes bezahlen. Ergebnis: Wir sind vor lauter Frust schon am Nachmittag vor dem eigentlichen Abfahrtsdatum nach Hause gefahren. Zuhause angekommen, haben wir mit dem Anbieter Kontakt aufgenommen und um Preisminderung gebeten. Ergebnis: Wenn bis jetzt alles auf Deutsch war, bekomme ich nun Emails in englischer Sprache (auf die ich auch reagiert habe und die geforderten Daten eingereicht habe). Aber tatsächliche Hilfe oder Interesse an Unterstützung ist nicht erkennbar.

Appartement plein centre, très confortable et plein de charme !

L’appartement est très bien placé, atypique et plein de charme ! La literie est confortable, le salon et la terrasse très agréable et le parking gratuit est un vrai plus ! La salle de bain a également été refaite par rapport aux photos.

La cuisine manque d’ustensiles et la cafetière aurait besoin d’un détartrage (elle fuyait).

Propreté extérieur à revoir : Terrasse et salon de jardin pas nettoyés, pot en terre pour les mégots pas vidé. Dommage que la porte d'entrée ne soit pas sécurisée (vitres et vieille menuiserie). Elle est trop fragile. La seconde porte d'entrée (couloir) est également vitrée, dommage pour l'intimité. Elle n'est pas refermable avec sa clé de l'intérieur. Vous devriez prévoir des travaux pour repenser l'entrée dans le logement. Vous l'avez bien fait pour les portes fenêtre et fenêtre très solides et sécurisés.

Appartement bien situé (proche centre-ville), au calme, avec du charme et un extérieur. Les espaces sont bien aménagés et bien répartis (espace nuit bien séparé du reste de l’appartement). La literie est très confortable.

Peu d’ustensiles de cuisine (un four sans maniques, économe acheté sur place..), vaisselle pas très propre à notre arrivée. Problème de poignet de porte dans la grande chambre (ne pas fermer la porte de l’intérieur sous risque d’y être bloqué) et problème de serrure dans la salle de bain (ne pas fermer avec le verrou qui peut être très difficile à ouvrir).

De gros soucis de serrure J ai failli passer la nuit dans la salle de bain, mes enfants se sont retrouvés coincés dans leur chambre car il était impossible d’ouvrir la porte de la chambre de l’interieur, et enfin nous ne pouvions fermer la porte d’entrée du logement!

Bien situé. Jolies couleurs de décors. Maisonnette type atelier au milieu d’une cour un peu surprenant au début car assez ancien mais au final avec beaucoup de charme et au calme.

L'appartement est très bien situé au coeur de la ville et la place de stationnement dans le parking à quelques pas est appréciable. La literie est confortable et l'appartement agréable.

Personne pour nous accueillir et la boîte à clef vide alors que nous vivons prévenu de notre arrivée. Le coin cuisine est vraiment sommaire et totalement vide.

L'emplacement et le logement étaient parfaits. La terrasse appréciable par ce beau temps.

Nous avons eu un problème avec les clés car nous ne pouvions pas refermer la première porte d'accès au logement. La cafetière fonctionnait mal. Mais tout le reste était très bien et nous avons passé un très bon week-end
