This modern beach villa is walking distance to St Augustine's beautiful beaches. Added bonus of walking distance to the beach(0.7 mi) and the intracoastal waters(0.25 mi), this property has a lot to offer with 2 bedrooms to sleep 5, a fully equipped kitchen, indoor and outdoor dining, and a peaceful outdoor space looking out onto the infamous Florida preserves. This great outdoor space includes a private large screened in covered back patio where you can relax and enjoy your morning coffee lounging with the sounds of the Florida birds or soak in the hottub in the evening. It also has a nice shared subtropical yard with a small pond, a firepit and seating, a yard to play, and a hammock to relax in. The property has stone walking paths, is just a quarter of a mile to the intracostal which is great for fishing and boating, and is just over a half of mile walk, bike or drive to the beautiful blue water beach. Plus it is located near to Ocean Hammock park which is a great place to explore Florida nature or to enjoy the nice boardwalk to the beach. Just 10 minutes from the historical district of St Augustine where you can tour the history, eat and shop. Check out the Castillo de San Marcos fort, the Fountain of Youth, St Augustine's 150 year old working lighthouse, or zipline across the alligator zoo.

For my family of 4 this place was great. We did miss having beach front but this place isn’t far from the beach and easily walkable or even drivable if you wish. Props are, In side was very clean, the beds were beyond comfortable. The kitchen had more than enough dishes and utensils for cooking which we did a lot of during our week stay. The bunk beds were a hit with my kids and even had an extra bed rail in the closet for my youngest who won rock paper scissors for the top bunk. There was a cabinet full of clean towels in the hall as well. TVs worked in both the kids room and living room when needed. The top hit of this place was the hot tub! We used this a ton and it was very clean. Cons but aren’t worth taking stars away. If you have a larger vehicle parking can be an issue getting in and out. It is not listed that this is a triplex though it is very quiet and the property owner in the middle is super sweet. The landscaping is very over grown in the back, no hammocks or cute little bench as pictured. The patio is in need of desperate repair though I know they have had a couple hurricanes in 2024 it’s still functioning. The hot tub had a horrible chlorine smell to the point it burnt our eyes (I’m glad to know it was treated properly though) we just opened the lid a few minutes before getting in it. I’d have to say the best part is the cat next door Grimm he’s a tuxedo cat who won the heart of my daughter and made our leave super hard.

My family and I throughly enjoyed our stay here. Although I didn’t really speak to the host, the message she sent before our stay was so informative I had no reason to reach out!

The interior was clean and beds were comfy. A/c unit was powerful. However, I was disappointed with some aspects: the bathroom shower needs to be updated. It looks a bit dingy and the curtain rod was rusty. We were only provided 1 roll
Of toilet paper and a half used roll of paper towel. No other amenities. In addition, the fire pit on the exterior was full of leaves and debris. It was not
Cleaned out and the chairs were broken, dirty and extremely poor condition. No firewood or matches provided. The hot tub was a good feature but the screened in porch was dusty! Chairs and table were covered in dust and debris. Not cool. On top of that I had to remove all of the bed sheets from the beds and leave them in a pile. And I also had to throw the towels in the washer! I dried them, too! I’m not sure why they charge us for the cleaning service when we had to do a lot of it! I’ve never stayed at a host home where I had to do those things. This host has a lot of improvements to make if they want to stay competitive. I don’t say this to be mean, only to provide an honest review of our experience compared to other Vrbo homes.
