Sweet 'N Salty is a quaint home tucked away in the Emerald Shores gated community in Miramar Beach! Our 3 bedroom 2 bath home can accommodate up to 12 guests. Our guests can enjoy our 2 community pools (1 seasonally heated), basketball, pickleball & tennis courts, seasonal tram service to our private gated beach access, and peace of mind with community security. Come enjoy some sweet memories & the salty air at our cozy home!



The Space:

Our home is situated on a cul-de-sac in the beautiful gated community of Emerald Shores. We offer the convenience of our community having two access points - one from Highway 98, the main road through Destin/Miramar Beach, and one from Scenic Highway 98, the "beach road". Our home is just steps away from basketball and pickleball/tennis courts, and one of the community pools. A few minutes walk will take you to our second seasonally heated community pool located centrally in the neighborhood. Our private gated beach access is right at the entrance of the neighborhood on Scenic 98, complete with pavilions & close access to Kenny D's beach bar & grill!

Our home offers keyless entry for each guest, so no need to fumble with keys during your trip! Upon entering our home you'll be welcomed into our living area. We offer two sofas, a TV with standard cable, a built-in dog crate for your furry guests (no need to bring one along!), and a console table that doubles as a Queen-sized pull-out Murphy bed!



Our open concept kitchen and dining area overlook the living area. Our dining table comfortably seats 8, and there's additional seating at the breakfast bar. The kitchen boasts beautiful quartz countertops and a bonus margarita machine for added fun! We've stocked this kitchen with full appliances, dishes, bake ware, pots & pans, silverware, utensils, crockpot, blender, and a traditional coffee maker & Keurig! If you plan to cook during your trip, we encourage you to bring along any spices, condiments, & oils you may need as we do not provide any perishable or non-perishable items. We have an easy to use high chair, pack and play, kids cutlery, cups, and plastic dishes for our tiny travelers as well! Our back patio can be accessed directly from the living & dining area. We include both a propane & charcoal grill, and a few seats to kick back and relax!



Down the hallway to the left, you'll find out spacious Master suite with a comfortable King bed & TV for relaxing at the end of a beach day. The ensuite bathroom provides an extra level of comfort with a walk-in closet, his and her sinks, a separate toilet room, a jacuzzi tub, and a standalone shower.



Our bunk room is situated a little further down the hall on the right. Your kids will be talking about these triple bunks for years to come! The bottom bunk is safe for even the smallest travelers, as it sits right off the floor, so no tumbling off to worry about!



The final bedroom is another spacious King room with custom painted Shabby Chic furniture, a TV, and closet space for your luggage. This room offers an attached full Jack & Jill bathroom with a shower & tub combo that also opens up to the hallway for access.



Finally, the laundry room can be found at the end of the hallway with a full sized washer & dryer for guest use.



>> Parking
We can accommodate up to 2 vehicles for your stay (there is potentially room for a 3rd vehicle depending on the size of all of the vehicles, parking is slightly narrow in front of the home). Unfortunately, we do not have any streetside or additional overnight parking, so please plan in advance prior to your arrival.



>> Beach
We are about a 7-8 minute walk from our front door to the Emerald Shores private gated beach access! Seasonally, our neighborhood offers a shuttle to and from the beach for ease of access for our guests.



**Please note: There will be a community pavilion renovation starting on February 1st.**



Guest Access:

• You’ll receive keyless entry instructions at 4PM CST on the day of your arrival for a smooth, hassle-free check-in.



The Neighborhood:

• You're located in the Emerald Shores gated community in Miramar Beach! You're either a quick walk, golf cart ride, or short drive away from anything you'll need for your stay.



Getting Around:

• During busy times it can be easier to take an Uber, Lyft, or taxi to avoid dealing with traffic and parking. The town is fairly easy to navigate, as most everything to do is directly off the main road through in either direction!

• Airport Distances:

Destin FL (VPS) - 19 miles

Panama City FL (ECP) - 46 miles

Pensacola FL (PNS) - 77 miles



Other Things to Note:

• PLEASE read our house rules in detail before booking. We take time to put important information here that we need each guest to take into consideration when booking our home. While not all items listed may apply to your stay, we host guests of various group compositions so must list all rules that could apply to a trip. Thank you for your understanding!

• All linens (bed linens, towels, beach towels) are provided for any length of stay, with a washer and dryer in the home. Do note that we supply a small courtesy amount of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dishwasher/dish soap, laundry detergent and hand soap that's typically enough for the first 24 hours of your stay. For larger groups or longer trips, it is recommended that you bring additional supplies as seen fit for your group size/length of stay.

• We are pet friendly (up to two pets), but we must know upon inquiry as we do implement a non-negotiable pet fee, and we expect that your fur-baby is house trained, cleaned up after inside & outside, and if left in the home unattended that you do crate your animal (in our provided crate). Emotional support animals are not an exception to the pet fee, but we do not charge for any ADA recognized Service Animals. It is 100% necessary to have your pet leashed and cleaned up after at all times outside of the home. We do not allow pets in the pool areas of our community at ANY time. Please note that if you do show up with a pet, we will enforce this fee, regardless if you have chosen to disclose it to us up front.

• We do not host students/groups under age 25 at any time, due to HOA rules. Sorry, no exceptions.
