Clean room with ample storage space This year I appreciated getting washing up liquid, a sponge and a tea towel as well as cups, glasses, frying pan and spatula - all of which I had to go and buy as soon as I arrived last year. The kitchen appliances were all in good working condition and efficient.

I understand the security concerns, but the tiny gap that the window opens to was simply not enough during the heatwave. Even though I was given a fan, the room was stiffling hot and stuffy and made me feel queezy and nauseous. The bed was comfortable but it was hard to get to sleep because of the elevated temperature that did not shift even during the night. The cooker hood offered better ventilation than the window.

It's good value for money. It's close to the underground and buses. Plenty of shops and people about, so it felt safe to be out and about in the evenings, even as a lone female traveller. Despite that, it was nice and peaceful once inside.

Main disappointment was that I had to buy a lot of basic kitchen essentials to be able to cook anything. All that was provided were two small saucepans. There wasn't even a cup or glass to drink out of. Also, no manual for the hob or microwave. So, on arrival, after 30 mins trying to make the hob work, I had to warm some water in a saucepan, and drink the coffee out of a soup bowl.

The room was small but nice, very affordable and the location was amazing. I was there on a five night stay. The room was well equipped, fridge, hob, microwave and loads of storage. No kettle. It was clean, cheap and cheerful, I would discribed it as. Perfect for a student. Tube station just a two minute walk away with a direct line to Victoria Station. Shopping center at the tube station, with grocery store, McDonald's, Pauls and Starbucks to name a few, also a Nandos opposite the station. The staff were all lovely and very accommodating with any request we asked. I asked for extra towels a d bed sheets and they also stored my bags for awhile after check out.

The room had no Air Conditioning and due to the heat wave in London while I was there the room was like a Sauna. They gave me one small fan when I arrived which did very little to help. It was stifling hot and unbearable at times. The shower door couldnt be used as it was falling off.
