Very nice hotel with a lovely garden in front, located about a 20-minute walk from the city center

Accommodation was very nice. The room was very clean, the staff were polite, and the breakfast was excellent. The location is great for exploring the city. It also has its own parking space, and it’s not as difficult to reach as some people mention in the comments. The street is narrow and uphill, but there is enough space for a car.

I think they could provide some additional amenities in the room, such as slippers, cotton pads and cotton buds, and complimentary coffee or free tea bag (there is a machine in the room, but one capsule costs 1 euro). For a hotel of this category and price, I think this would be a small gesture for guests, who really appreciate this kind of welcome and hospitality.

Worth the stress of the drive into the villa

Another wonderful gem found in the heart of a bustling city. Right next to the university, the villa sits within private walls and seemingly away from the densely populated neighborhood. Great breakfast provided by friendly hosts.

WOW - Driving up the incredibly narrow "two-way" road was nerve-racking. The instructions were well written, but in reality, finding the little signs and navigating the tiny, twisting neighborhood roads with scooters and cars zipping about was so stressful. We made it, but be warned to spend time on Google Earth navigating the road to the iron gate of the villa a few time virtually to get ready for the actual drive up to the entrance.

Nice relaxing stay in a beautiful villa

Lovely old style villa with private pool . Friendly staff . Good self catering facilities

As previous posters have stated the road ( really a very very narrow lane way ) up to the villa is extremely narrow and only suitable for a small car . Best to leave the car in the public park ( parco de san giovanni ) just above the villa and walk through the pathway to the villa.

It was pretty bad

Nothing really.

Aircondition was broken it was 83.3°f in the room which I have a picture of. I had to call multiple times at midnight and send an email. They then put me upstairs in a lesser room. The road to get to the villa was so small there was less than a foot clearance for my Mercedes C class rental. Overall the staff seemed cold like they didn’t want to be bothered. The chef lady at breakfast was very kind and so was the guy that came at midnight to give us another room for the night. I would like to get a refund. I asked them but they wouldn’t give me one.

Gardens , pool and grounds lovely all well maintained .plus free parking

We asked if there were pool towels, receptionist gave them to us . On check out we were charged 5euro each ( I did not use mine as I decided not to swim ) we should have been advised when towels were given to us . Plus there was a town tax added at check out 4.5 Euro . Access to car park very narrow be aware if u have any large car .

Nice villa surrounded by gardens

Very nice historical villa/small castle surrounded by gardens. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Receptionist is very kind and helpful.

It is quite a challenge to get to the property by car, the streets are one-way and super-narrow, the entrance to the property is also super-narrow, so don't even try it if you have something bigger than Renault Clio, we barely made it :)

Garden oasis on the city

A green ,quiet( with lovely sounds of Peacocks) oasis with rose gardens nearby. Apartment A7 had an exclusive balcony overlooking the garden pool. High quality fittings, linen and towels. Room cleaned daily. We cook our own breakfasts and kitchen was fine. Easy walk to the no.6 bus into town near enough to the port but in a non tourist district. Nice staff. Loved it!

An unnecessary tiny charge of €1 to use the coffee provided in the apartment. The kitchen could have easily had basics like salt, sugar oil.

Little paradise

Excellently run hotel, professional leadership, friendly staff, quiet setting, still not too far from downtown. Superior beds, wonderful spa despite a little expensive (not included in room rate). Nice pool and garden, beautiful terrasse. Well maintained plants. Nice balkony. Many personal thanks to Carolina, a wonderful host!!!

We were in an attic room, so had no windows that we could look out of. No facilities to dry wet clothes. Not great natural light to put make up on, and the seagulls wake you up early in the morning squawking and hoping on the roof.

There was not much hospitalytie en empathie - the badroom was dangerus there was no anti-slip on the floor. The douche was old ( also old dared) - in the kitchen were many tools but even no salt en peper. Not a bit of coffie and tea. Notting to clean the dishes So we where not able tot wach our breakfaststuf and our teacups. The fridge was frozen and gifs a lot of water.
