Spacious room in a good location but the kitchen was substandard.

Spacious room in a good location with an easy and efficient self check in system.

The kitchen was not up to standard and was missing some basic amenities (kitchen towel, salt/oil etc, kettle). Fine if you just want to prepare breakfast but not great if you want to cook a proper meal. The free parking below the house is extremely hard to come by so you will most probably have to pay for parking.

Just an advice, not a negative, free parking is a premium in this busy city, the undergoing parking close by is €16 but the height restriction is 1.9m which rules out roof boxes.

A lack of sockets for charging was a little inconvenient but only a minor problem.

Spacious apartment, kind owner. New furniture and tools. Clear instructions for check in.

Small things: Not possible to lock from inside (we had a small child who likes to open doors etc). Prison opposite of the flat.

If you're looking for a stress free stay in Trieste, this is your spot!

Ruggerio/Roger the host is super personable and friendly, answering my many questions and giving me valuable insights into things to do around Trieste. The apartment was superb in all aspects--clean, roomy, and comfortable, with extra pillows and blanket and WiFi strong enough for me to work and stream Netflix. Located about an eight minutes= walk to the center of Trieste, it still has cute cafes and restaurants right outside the door. Best part was the supermarket next door which is out of sight as it is up a slight incline and set back from the road but it is large and has everything you need -- deli foods, a wine section, and toiletries. I am definitely returning for a much longer time than one week next year. Trieste is a gorgeous city.
