A comfortable and quiet appartment

A comfortable, well-equipped appartment in a quiet area in walking distance from the city centre, with a parking place available. The hosts prepared and sent very detailed instructions how to reach the appartment and how to use it.

The instructions were in French only. It would be helpful to provide also the English version.

Unacceptable

booking.com customer service, my legal counsel's help and my bank's help to handle a challenging situation. I understand that the host might spend a lot of time thinking about the property management, yet I feel there's still a lot to improve.

On arrival we were surprised that the beds were not made, and there was only a basket with dirty bedsheets. There was dust on surfaces and hairs in odd places on the floor. The host wasn't available on the phone, but in reply to our factual statement that we had expected but didn't find clean bedsheets on the beds, we felt that the reaction was rude and unprofessional. The host was sending rude messages in what I feel was highly unprofessional tone - and this nearly always during the night, during my stay as well as in the night after my stay. When one travels, many things can happen: the cleaners can forget to make the beds, to clean the surfaces and the floor, one might not always be available on the phone. If an apartment is managed at a distance, there might be difficulties in communication between external cleaners and the absent host. I had experienced all that in decades of travelling in general, never on booking.com until I stayed in this property, though. What I remember from traveling for decades in France, there was always a solution in my previous stays in other French locations. But what I experienced in Cocon de l'Est shocked and surprised me. I feel that it is unacceptable that the host chooses violent ways of verbal communication (e.g. aggressive messaging at night, capital characters in messages, accusations etc.), being absent himself, blames the guest by inventing ridiculous stories, and even threatens to send a guest to prison for reporting about the missing bedsheets, dirth of cleanliness, and some other difficulties with the appartment. If this property is to stay on booking.com, I recommend the host to get some training on non-violent communication, and just to be a little more present to listen to their guests' concerns. I thank booking.com. for supporting me in this challenging situation, and my bank for blocking my credit card to which this host got access.

Prix très abordable. Nombreux équipements. Parking en bas de l'immeuble.

Pas très propre en général et surtout la vaisselle qui était très salle. La 3 ème chambre est en fait un canapé (très inconfortable) lit dans le salon.

Enttäuschend.

Die Matratzen waren überhaupt nicht komfortabel. Außerdem war wegen der Hitze der Schlaf nicht komfortabel und es gab keine Lüfter. Es gab im Bad Schimmel and der Wand und es war schmutzig.

Séjour avec la famille

En visite à Belfort on a choisi cette opportunité. Endroit très calme avec un place de parc pour la voiture très pratique. Appartement avec un grande cuisine.et de belles chambres.

La salle de bains est sans fenêtre et malgré une belle lave vaisselle il n'y avait aucune pastille pour laver.
