Sofa bed was not comfortable, bedding for sofa was not provided and when it was delivered it was washed but there were permanent stains.

Covers up all the needs for a functional apartment during a short stay un Dundee!

The flat was cozy, well decorated, and felt quite fresh. All electrical appliances were working perfectly, you just need to remember to turn on the power switches.

Some kitchen cupboards were dusty/not quite clean, and the kitchen knives could use some sharpening.

The building in which the flat was in was a bit creepy and I don't think a lot of maintenance has ever been done. But considering the price we paid for the apartment it was understandable.

Very clean serviceable flat, 20 min walk from city centre. Great host.

Thank you to Mr C for giving me a fresh set of sheets and towels every week. This was very appreciated! The washing machine is small but good and the drying rack was handy. Living room very cute with a wee serviceable stocked kitchen. Fantastic bathroom with immaculate water pressure and temperature. Great little bedroom with a comfy bed. Location is decent if you know the area - about a 20 minute walk from the city centre. Would recommend! One of the cleanest flats I've ever seen in Dundee.

The lock box was a bit sticky, so I was unable to get the flat keys back inside upon my departure. I know this is not the fault of the host, though! Other than that, everything was great. Perhaps another set of pillows for the future! Maybe I'm just picky with my pillows, though

Nice little flat. Perfect for three people. Entrance and staircase are not that appealing but the flat ist pretty and clean. Easy check in through key box. Parking on the street is no problem. Everything you need is well explained in the guest information book in the kitchen. Supermarket and restaurants are in a close walking distance.

A good base that met our needs.

The location was convenient for our purposes, but we didn't know Dundee and the area wasn't quite what we expected. The flat was nicely appointed and great for a short stay. Everything worked fine and the flat was clean and well maintained. Parking (free) is on the street and we found that there was usually a space not too far away.

It was fine for us, but you do need to be able to carry your bags up flights of stairs.

Very comfortable apartment, well furnished, clean. Near the city center, you can reach it on foot in 15 min. Bus stop less than 2 minutes. Supermarket 5 minutes. Very simple check in. Host always available that responds to messages in a few minutes. I would definitely go back.

Worth every penny, feels like home.

I loved my stay at Blackie's Neuk. It has everything you could possibly need for a short getaway or a staycation. The kitchen was the perfect size and came fully equipped which was useful on nights I felt like staying in and cooking. Usually, I don't sleep well when away from home due to hard mattresses or too-soft pillows, but the bed was SO incredibly comfortable! Felt 'at home' every night. The open access cupboard was perfect for putting my clothes up in and also for storing my books/suitcase. During my stay, I could get my laundry done, which was good as many places do not allow this or have a separate, paid laundry facility on-site. The heating was reliable (especially for chillier evenings) and kept my very cosy. There was a very thorough guide on every appliance in the flat in the sitting room area, which also includes other useful information (e.g. Wifi password). The water pressure was excellent, and the water heating was pre-set to the perfect temperature. It's clear that the place has been well designed and well maintained, as there was a convenient rail in front of the shower for towels and a bathmat. The ventilation in the bathroom is one of the most efficient I've come across - it gets quite steamy in there due to no windows, but within 10 minutes of getting out, the space doesn't feel damp anymore at all. As a bonus, the place is well furnished and makes great use of the space. The sofa doubles as a bed, the window ledges have stools (great as a wee reading nook!), plenty of desk-space for working, and the dining table folds out to accommodate more people. The check-in and check-out processes were really straightforward, and the host was lovely to deal with (and very accommodating!) across the board when I had any questions of queries.

The washing machine absolutely soaked my clothes and did not provide a thorough wash; I tried a few regular, and spin/rinse cycles, but it seems there may be an issue with the inner drum. There was also no rack for hanging. Not sure if perhaps the neighbours are smokers, or if the flat is smoked in when unoccupied by booked guests, but there is a prominent scent of cigarette smoke in the kitchen nook and I also noticed that the smoke detector is covered in a plastic bag. These are incredibly minor details, though worth keeping in mind.

Fabulous Apartment.

Ideal base for exploring Dundee - short walk into centre. Easy to collect keys and all information provided by host prior to arrival. Well equipped apartment that was exceptionally clean and helpful pack in property about key information that you might require during your stay. Plenty of room for 2 adults and two young children (aged 7 and 10 years). Would definitely stay here again.
