In short, we had a great vacation and the house was amazing, especially the pool. It is a great location and size for a large family. There was plenty of room for our 4 teenage girls, a 5 year old, a 2 year old, our daughter and her husband, and my wife and I. Both the pool and outdoor grill were professionally cleaned while we were there, so that was a bonus! The beach was a short walk, and not very crowded, even in peak June season. Most of the previous reviews were pretty accurate and the house almost lived up to our expectations, however...The down side: a June 10th 2025 review (we arrived on June 21st) mentioned issues with the oven, and we had a similar plight. It took hours to reach 350 degrees, and our food never actually cooked. The worst part was the smell of gas the last time we used it, which, of course, made us stop trying. MVH sent out a maintenance rep the next day, but the repair was beyond their ability, so last I heard when we were checking out was that they had a contractor coming to fix it. Also, there are many beds in the house, but I tried out 3 of the 5 non-bunk beds, and had to eventually sleep on the couch as they were WAY too old and soft and need to be replaced (in my opinion).And finally, the outdoor area needed some TLC with paint and touch up, but that didn't detract too much from our daily pool experience.Overall, it was a great place to stay, and MVH did the best they could to take care of our needs.

Great communication by the staff and easy check-in. The house was great and the pool was nice and clean. It was everything that we wanted. We loved how close it was to the beach and how the beach was private and not crowded. We would come back here again any time!

Not enough words to describe how fabulous this rental really is! Beautifully furnished in a perfect location. What a gem!! The house is stocked with kitchen items and the beds are all comfortable. My kids loved the pool and all of the turtles that swim up to visit you in the lake!! Perfect house for a family. We will be back again!
