About this house rental
Renovated lakefront house with central air conditioning. Bright and open on Owasco Lake's North End, the home is situated on the water with outdoor furniture, gas grill, stone fire pit and long dock. The first floor features a half bath, open, well-equipped kitchen, pantry, and laundry area and dining room which opens to a spacious living room. For cool nights, there is a gas fireplace. Upstairs are 4 bedrooms and a full bathroom with tub and shower. There is an enclosed porch on the lake side of the house leading to the stone fire pit, Adirondack chairs and a large picnic table with benches. The view is beautiful! Summer rentals includes 2 kayaks and a canoe along with life jackets and fishing poles. NOTE: the dock is removed, and placed in storage, early May through early October. Take the boats to Emerson Park or visit downtown Auburn just 10 minutes away. Great restaurants, museums, wineries/cideries/breweries and hiking are all close by. Start, or continue, your family's summer tradition of a great Finger Lakes vacation!

A fun, clean place to stay. We took advantage of all amenities; fire pit, picnic table, kayaks, canoe, and outdoor grill. Scenery was awesome, especially from the rocking chairs in the patio. Highly recommended.

Property manager was responsive and helpful. House was extremely well-stocked and maintained and very accurately represented in photos and description. Central air, updated electrical, quality linens and new windows show that its owner invested time and funds. Convenient to groceries, gas, etc. and Emerson Park, which is a nice place to run or picnic with kids. Lake is lovely, clear, comfortable temp, and pretty quiet. Water off the dock is shallow and weedy, but the dock is nice and it's a great safe place for beginner kayakers and paddleboarders. Outdoors is in excellent shape.
House was small and decor dated, but very clean with all amenities.
