Owasco is a great lake for boating, tubing, fishing (for panfish, northern pike, smallmouth bass, and lake trout), and even ice fishing when the conditions are right. There's a dock (available seasonally from May to October, weather permitting) at the water's edge, where you can take out the provided kayaks or park a V-hull or pontoon boat rented through Owasco Marine. Just be sure to check with the owner that water levels can accommodate your craft. No matter how you spend your time, this recently updated home makes a scenic and comfortable respite. Marvel at the view - rain or shine - as you barbecue on the covered 200-square-foot porch, indulge in afternoon naps in the hammock, and roast marshmallows nightly around the firepit.
