Charming, air-conditioned vacation rental with private spa
A magnificent farmhouse, fully restored, located 4 km from Vaison-la-Romaine and 7 km from Malaucène at the foot of the old village of Crestet. It offers a magnificent view of Mont Ventoux and the surrounding vineyards.
A large terrace with lounge chairs, a table, chairs, a parasol, and a barbecue for dining al fresco and enjoying the Provençal sun.
The cottage features a large living room with a sofa, armchair, and coffee table, facing a magnificent exposed-stone wall.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a stovetop, oven, microwave, Nespresso coffee maker, large refrigerator, dishwasher, and a washing machine in the bathroom.
Upstairs, there is a large bedroom with a 160cm double bed, a walk-in closet, and a dressing table. A spacious bathroom with a 90x120 walk-in shower and a separate toilet. The cottage is fully air-conditioned. A washing machine and an iron are available.
Located in the heart of the countryside and surrounded by vineyards, it is just 10 minutes from Vaison-la-Romaine, a historic town featuring extensive Roman ruins, a medieval old town, a superb Provençal market, and restaurants, bars, and cafés. The region offers excellent access to activities such as horseback riding, biking, hiking, rock climbing, via ferrata (Buis-les-Baronnies), and canoeing and kayaking (in the Ardèche Gorges). It is also a renowned wine-growing region, home to villages such as Rasteau, Gigondas, Cairanne, and Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Less than an hour from Avignon, the region is full of charming, well-preserved villages.

The Gite was everything and more! It is modern and comfortable and we loved it!
The views from the windows and deck are sensational, with a glorious view on Mont Ventoux. The sun loungers, bbq and hot tub made it a delight to sit out in the sun or watch the stars in the evening.
Daniel is a very friendly host and although we didn't need him for much we felt confident that if we did he would be available.
The Gite would be ideal for cyclists but you do need a car to explore this beautiful area. Crestet is a short walk up the hill and the views from there are gorgeous. Vaison La Romaine is just a five minute drive away.
If you want an away from it all stay that is within easy reach of some gorgeous towns and villages and of course the majestic Ventoux this is the place for you.
We would go back in a heartbeat!

We spent a week in this property riding our bikes around Mont Ventoux and the Barronnies Provencale. The area is stunning and the gite is in a great location for both areas.
The property is beautifully finished. There is a kitchen with basic cooking supplies and options for making coffee, a comfortable lounge area and air conditioning to the living and sleeping areas. The hot tub is perfect after a hard days cycling!
Daniel was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our week here.
