Last minute saviour!

The host was amazing and the property had everything you could possibly want in regards to amenities. It was very spacious and the garden was also lovely. The wood burner and outdoor fire was a nice touch. The host even left us a red velvet cake which is a nice personal touch.

Beautiful home and lovely secluded location but within easy reach to explore Norfolk.

Great location for exploring Norfolk. The house was well equipped and attention to detail was evident in its decor. The garden and outside space was a real bonus. Overall it was a beautiful house and very well presented.

Other members of my family noted that a full length mirror 🪞 was lacking in the 1st floor bedrooms, ( it was a bit twisty and turny going up to the 2nd floor for my aged mother. My children were put about by the cobwebs ( after they had a few encounters with some spiders) But very minor issues.

Great location to access Norfolk coast and walks. Lovely village. The house is exceptional. Beautifully decorated, cosy and comfortable. Very spacious bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms. The garden is gorgeous too. Easy to gain access, great hosts - thank you!

Comfortable, relaxing and stress free

The property was immaculate and worked really well for the family. The beds were really comfortable and the property contained a folder detailing everything including what to do in the town. Would definitely stay there again.

The house was gorgeous and Lena gave us a great recommendation for dinner venue which was fabulous.

Whilst the immediate Location of the house was very pretty- Fakenham town had limited facilities. However it was l great launching point to visit other places close by and the house was lovely to come back to after a busy day.

Perfect Norfolk bolt hole

The host met us and explained where everything was. She was so accommodating and I don't think I've ever stayed somewhere with such a well equipped kitchen - even silver foil and washing up gloves. It's a beautiful little annex off the house only 4-5 mins walk into Fakenham and a great base for exploring Norfolk. The log burner was just lush! We'd like to come again in the Summer to make use of the lovely garden area.

The tower rooms were just as pictured. Beautifully set out, super comfortable beds. Shops local. Great place to hang out with friends for my birthday.

Only reason I have given a 9/10 was because we had no hot water, however the owner was brilliant and responded quickly and resolved.

Perfect celebratory weekend with family.

I thought this property was perfect for a stay with family celebrating my in-laws 40th wedding anniversary. They were delighted with their bedroom on the top floor and we loved the room rooms (with inter connecting door) on the first floor. As a host Lena was wonderfully warm and welcoming and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Enjoying the gardens on the last sunny summer-like day was perfect and the facilities provided - including towels and hairdryers were wonderful. A huge thank you from us for a wonderful stay Lena!

Lovely break with friends helped by excellent accommodation.

Very comfortable, clean well maintained. Location was excellent for visiting Sandringham Estate while the Christmas Light display was on. We were also close to the main event we were going to which was the Thursford Christmas show.

A stunning property, excellently presented and maintained with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Location is superb to explore the coastal areas with Wells Next The Sea, Cromer, Sherringham and Hunstanton all within short distance. Great for a family stay

The property is situated in a great location, less than 5 minutes walk to the town centre and to a large supermarket. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces are beautiful and very traditional for rural England. The rooms in the house are of a very good size which allowed us plenty of space to interact with our family. Lena (our hostess) is fantastic, she provided plenty of information in advance of our stay and she was there to received us when we arrived. She even left some basic supplies like milk for us which was really appreciated.

Being in a rural location, there were a few cobwebs and spiders in various rooms of the house. Noise also travels easily between the different floors.
