Would very much recommend Far Barn. Just be aware that the upstairs bedroom is not private.

Very nice location, very private and lovely little garden. Very safe for children and dogs. Very clean and great shower. Very nicely decorated.

The upstairs room has no door/ wall between it and the living area. Difficult to sleep there if the family doesn’t go to bed and get up at the same times.

Great location and base,would recommend to others and would consider staying again if in the area.

The welcome hamper was very useful and a lovely gesture. We especially enjoyed feeding the ducks with the food provided. The Barn location was ideal for a base to travel out from (Hunstanton,Wells,Cromer, Kings Lynn and Norwich), we liked the local farm shop and enjoyed meals in The Aviator and The Crown at East Rudham. The Barn was well decorated and furnished and well equipped with all the essentials you could possibly need. - lovely extra touches with puzzles,games,dvds etc provided.

The beds could be more comfortable and the bunk beds are definitely not suitable for adults- very cramped but despite this we still had a lovely weekend away.

Awful

The location

False advertisement as the second bedroom is only for two children and not for two adults. There is privacy only in one bathroom and 5 adults had to take turns to go to the toilet and to have a shower. The kitchen utensils were extremely dirty and equally dirty were the bed covers. The cushions in the lounge smelled of sweat. The mattress in the double bedroom is extremely uncomfortable. Tried to contact the owner and booking.com customer service but nobody replied. Terrible staying and it was very expensive for being cramped in this dirty house!

All in all a very pleasant & relaxing stay ,would definitely use again.

Pretty property & area very relaxing a lot of thought put in supplying board games & books for children if you have them. Also a nice little welcome pack was left for us. Ducks in the grounds were a delight & food for them was supplied which we replaced for next residence.

Some of the pans supplied were not suitable for the induction hob cooker , took us a while to work out why hob wouldn’t work. Flys were a bit of a nuisance but probably because near farm & pond.parking caused a little upset with neighbours,as we came in two cars second car has to park near gate as advised by owners but this seemed to upset the neighbour.

pleasant place to stay and good facilities

nice place to stay facilities were very good . nice and clean

was a slight issue to find the place until we noticed the bins . only 2 real issues - fire alarm downstairs is very sensitive and set off a couple of times after someone had a shower. great it had a PlayStation but it did not work for the kids which was a shame. so could not watch dvd or play a game .

The property is open plan and spacious with everything you need. Very much a home from home. The garden is south facing which is wonderful when the sun is shining. The garden is also very safe for children and pets due to it being enclosed. The location is great and all local tourist attractions are within easy reach.

The cooker front is faded, so it’s a guessing game on what temperature food is cooking at in the oven. Instructions on how to use the oven/grill would have been useful. The master bedroom is spacious and the bed is comfortable but the screens used for privacy between the bedroom and bathroom are are heavy and fell over due to their instability. It was disappointing that the bath, sink and toilet in the Master Bedroom hadn’t been cleaned. There was a thick layer of dust on and in the bath, on the toilet and also on the sink. Hand-wash had been left on the sink in the master bedroom and when I lifted the hand wash up the area underneath was black where the hand wash had sat, hence I cleaned the toilet, sink and bath before they were used.

Superb

We spent two days at the Barn over the Christmas break. We highly recommend it! The place is spacious, welcoming and spotlessly clean. Like others have said, it's extremely well equipped with kitchen utensils, cleaning materials, glasses, plates, ironing board, board games, I could go on ... :-) The owners went above and beyond with a beautifully decorated Christmas tree as well as a lovely festive hamper for us to enjoy. Unfortunately we were not able to fully explore the area due to torrential rain however we're thinking about returning to the Far Barn in the spring.

the location, the friendly ducks, it was quite quaint, easy parking, 1 comftable room,

bed upstairs, very small, bath upstairs, lethal, too posh for it's own good, decking outside, very very slippy, no firewood, no heating on when we got there around 8pm, would have been nice to walk into a cosy warm place, otherwise we liked it, would stay again..

great place and we really enjoyed it and would love to return but the only thing which would make us choose elsewhere is

very comfortable and clean the heating and log burner keeps the property nice and cosey the barn was very well equipped the location for Thursford Christmas Show was ideal also for visiting other locations like Sandringham or the coast the rear garden was nice and private also enclosed if you have any children or pets

the mezzanine floor bedroom did not feel very private at all especially if staying with another couple the toilet had no privacy whatsoever and the bedroom itself is quite visible from the kitchen living area and there was only a screen which you could put across but this really isn’t sufficient the roll top bath on the mezzanine floor is nice but a shower would be more realistic, the downstairs shower room was superb
