We really enjoyed ourselves.

The breakfast was excellent. The much needed coffee wonderful, it was all delicious and a wide choice. The staff and owner extremely helpful and kind. Comfortable and clean. My family were also extremely happy and satisfied.

The shower did not always stay up.

Enjoyed myself in St Valery and a lot of that was down to the hotel location and accomodation.

No fuss no bother staff were very helpful despite the language barrier really enjoyed my stay simple room more than matched my expectations for price paid and the location in St Valery was spot on.

Good value for money hotel

Good location and lots of restaurants in town. We ate in the hotel restaurant. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. The staff were quirky but friendly. Would recommend eating there. Room was cosy and very comfortable bed. Sheets were soft and very white. Fresh sea air guaranteed a good nights sleep.

Not enough electrical sockets in bedroom. Walls were a bit thin and no lift. Not great as we were on third floor and my wife did not pack lightly :(

Located in the middle of town near the pebble beach. A few restaurants and Bars within walking distance.

Cleanliness. Shower was old and mouldy on ceiling. Cobwebs all over Small balcony. View of Old abandoned building opposite.

Nothing fancy, but comfortable, clean, good value, and right near the waterfront.

The breakfast was just fine: fresh croissants and baguette, confiture, butter, juice and café au lait.

The room was spare and undecorated, a bit spartan, but the bed was comfortable, there was an en-suite toilet and bathtub/shower. The shower was excellent. They could also use darker curtains to block out the streetlight beyond the window.

Very good

Hotel Les Remparts was clean and comfortable, check in was easy and the staff were helpful and friendly. We parked on the street right outside for free. The location is ideal for the beach and harbour area and very close to local shops. There was a small market very nearby on the Friday morning that we were staying. Breakfast was simple but filling. Great value and enjoyable stay.

The stairs are a little difficult and you have to work out the corridor lighting.

A typical French utilitarian hotel.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable.

Unfortunately my wife suffers from bad knees, so the room on the third floor was particularly difficult. No toilet door didn't add to the ambiance.

Food in the restaurant was excellent, Friendly staff, Tea & coffee available in the room. Had a separate toilet to shower.

Found the shower situation a bit strange. The shower was in the corner of the room, had curtain for shower, but no privacy to get dried off after.

Location is great and the staff super helpful. The adjacent restaurant is superb!

We were right under the roof - very hot in the summer with only a small window. The hotel and rooms are rather dated, but functional and very clean

Excellent, and we'll be back

Location was excellent, with free parking right outside, and easy to find. Room was very big. Restaurant looked very good, although we didn't eat there, but it was a back up as it was a Sunday night, and we didn't know what else would be open. Friendly check in/out.

Vintage hôtel but comfortable enough. Staff is friendly and helpful. Reasonably priced.

We LOVED the following: 1) that we could smoke on the balcony (massive bonus!) 2) the hot water is plentiful at any time of day or night. 3) the bed was mega comfortable 4) the vintage furniture 5) the quietness of our room 6) the possibility to make ourselves hot drinks

The fact that there is no real parking attached to the hotel. We had a van so that might have been why, but it wasn’t practical to have to park it on the casino’s parking because we had so much to take with us, we didn’t want to leave our possessions in the truck all night. Real problems with the plumbing of the toilet and a nasty surprise upon wanting to flush. This was first thing in the morning before we left too, so that delayed our departure.

Nice stay in this little outdated hotel

Travelled with family (2 kids). The hotel met our expectations, small rooms everything a little outdated, but price-quality was ok. For a stop of 2 nights it was a fine place to stay. The village was nice, the rock/stone beach was beautiful. Hotel was indeed at the center and everything on walking distance. Breakfast was not very special, but this was may be due to Corona rules. All together, I liked it and I would recommend it.

Everything was a bit outdated, but that was also a charm on its own.
