Our hosts were in contact with us prior to coming to Florence and were there to meet us when we arrived and then showed us around the Apartment and then how to use all the different keys. They were also on hand when we had an issue with the Keys (we were using the wrong key) The location was sensational, being just off the Ponte Vecchio. Plenty of choices for food in the immediate AREA
we were told we had a lift to our floor but it stopped the floor before and we had to take the stairs to the next level

Location is very good for getting around, though it’s in the heart of the most heavily touristed part of Florence.
The listing on Booking is not accurate. The elevator only reaches the floor below the apartment, and there’s a steep staircase to the apartment. ANYONE WITH MOBILITY ISSUES WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO STAY HERE.

We liked the atmosphere a lot, the spirit of the antique cozy appartment. The location is perfect, just a few steps by the Ponte Vecchio.
We didn't know that the appartment is on the sixth floor . There were missing sugar and some such basic things in the kitchen.
