It is so well appointed and relaxing that we rarely left. The community pool is wonderful for all ages. The hiking trails are super close to the home. The home feels like it is nestled in a park. One morning we watched a family of deer playing on the hillside. We enjoyed quiet time on the deck as well as evenings around the fire pit. The house was exactly what we needed with plenty of areas to be together or find places for solitude. I also appreciated having a dedicated space to exercise, especially with a beautiful view of the woods. The town of Berkeley Springs is worth a visit-the baths are interesting, nice variety of shops, and the people are friendly and welcoming. Bottom line: this was one of my best vacation rental experiences. We loved our stay and plan to book another visit." - Pri

Definitely recommend this house to those coming with friends or family! I had a girls trip here for my sister and it was amazing! Great views from the top deck & while sitting in the hot tub. A very nice and peaceful community. The house was gorgeous and very spacious, accommodating my large group. Loved having an extra space in the basement to lounge and play games! The house is close to town and all the other things planned on my itinerary. Brunch at Charolettes Cafe was a big hit, great customer service & mimosas!(recommend reservations for a large crowd) Also really enjoyed specialty pies from Mystical Pizza. Will definitely be back soon

Very comfortable mountain home with many amenities to occupy both children and adults alike. Far enough away from the main roadway hearing traffic is minimized and you can enjoy the sounds and silence of being away, but close enough you’re within 10-20min of town, Cacapon Park, and other adventures. Relaxing and restful location.

Stop scrolling and rent this beautiful property NOW! The house is stunning - everything from the decor to the sheets and towels will make you feel pampered. The electric fireplace made the family room and open kitchen our favorite spot. There is a screened in back porch, and we enjoyed most of our meals out there. Most of the bedrooms have multiple beds, making this the perfect property if you're renting with another family or two. The kitchen was stocked with some basic cleaning supplies and everything we needed to cook. We taught our older kids how to play pool, and after the kids were down, we enjoyed the poker table in the basement game room (which has a second fridge - SCORE)!The chalet itself is set in the woods - so it is quiet and private. We rented this home for spring break along with another family. All of our kids are 5 and and under, and they loved exploring the woods surrounding the property with little buckets to collect specimens, rocks, etc.. We found a trail (the "white trail") on our property that kept us busy for hours.The owners, Katie and Jimmy, were great hosts - prompt in all of their communications, even after we checked-in. They recommended lots to do - but with little ones (and the pandemic), we spent most of our time at the house. We did check out the nearby winery (only open on Saturday afternoons, all fruit wine) and the brewery (excellent BBQ, beers, and service). There is a Food Lion not terribly far away that we visited a couple of times.We visited Cacapon State Park twice - once on Saturday to hike with the kids, and then again on Monday to let the kids use the playground. A couple of tips: Bring your own pool towels for the hot tub. If you need reliable WiFi, bring a hotspot, as the WiFi is on satellite. You may also want to download movies or shows ahead of time or bring DVDs. The house comes with a really nice Bose speaker, so we were glad we did not bother bringing our own. And consider staggering showers a bit - there is plenty of hot water, but we noticed a decrease in water pressure when we had too many showers going at once.We are looking forward to our next visit!
