About this house rental
This bright and spacious 5-bedroom canal front home in South Bethany, Delaware is located ~8 houses from beautiful South Bethany Beach. Our house has plenty of room to spread out with 5 designated outdoor areas to relax and is on a quiet street w/ only 6 houses. Take a ride into town on the bikes or hop on the canoe and explore Jefferson Creek and the Little Assawoman Bay. Spend the evening relaxing by the fire pit on the patio, drop in crab pots and try your hand at crabbing or play a game of cornhole or ping pong. Driveway parking for up to 3 cars. Extra cars can park along the street. One can enter the home on the ground level (using elevator to get to 2nd or 3rd floor) or by exterior stairs to the 2nd floor. The middle level holds all bedrooms except the bedroom with a queen bed. It also has the laundry room, 2 full baths and the office/sunroom off the main owner suite. The top floor has a Great Room, Kitchen and dining area, 5th bedroom, full bathroom and access to porch and veranda. The kitchen was upgraded in 2017 and has counter seating for 3. The Great Room has a gas fireplace, 55" TV, and new furniture in 2023. Two sliding glass doors exit off the Great Room to an exterior deck facing the canal with dining as well as a an uncovered seating area with a gas grill. A new ground level patio was added in 2021 with a fire pit and seating. Please stop and pick up wood on your way in if you plan to use it. We are only a short walk to York Beach Plaza including Rosenfeld's Deli, Grotto Pizza, Misaki Sushi, a bait & tackle, and more. Bike into Bethany for shopping, dinner or ice cream. 5+ bikes are available for guest use along with plenty of beach chairs, floats and toys.

Every room was immaculate! Furniture was comfortable and the beds were very comfortable. The location is very easy to get to from the highway but very quiet location with quiet neighbors. 10 minutes to grocery store, and 5 minutes to restaurants. Their layout is great for families with sleeping accommodations together and the living room and kitchen and dining all together. Also the fire pit, bikes, and table tennis are very nice options. The host was perfect! Shelly was super accommodating and very timely in responding to any questions. Excellent vacation!
