River Vista is a small restricted deed community in Port St Lucie, Florida, situated steps away from Sandpiper Bay Resort, Altitude Academies https://altdacademies.com/ (former Club Med world known resort). The neighborhood is made of 77 single family homes, some along the beautiful St Lucie River and a few on the golf course. The community is diverse in its population, with both American and International residents, snowbirds and full time owners.

Back in the 1950s, Port Saint Lucie was uninhabited, aside from a few farms and a fishing camp. That changed rapidly, especially during the 2000s, when this coastal gem went from hidden to hot -- so much so that its population overtook that of Fort Lauderdale and is now roughly 180,000 residents. Loved everything about our stay! House and pool very clean

The house was nice. Needed some pressure washing and cleaning up on the outside. Also had a for sale sign in the front yard. I had difficulty getting answers from the property manager. Asked about an early check-in and no response. Got there and there were Amazon packages outside and messaged them to find out what to do with them. I got no response. I asked about the garbage situation since Monday was a holiday and got no response. There was no cable remote in the main living room so trying to get cable channels was a problem. But we brought our ruku and hooked that to the TV and had all our streaming apps and our direct TV. I didn't bother to message them about the remote. Because of the lack of communication. I only heard from them for check-in and check out instrution..I'm just glad we didn't have any issues. The pool was very clean and well worth it .The inside of the house was very comfortable. The bed in the master bedroom was comfortable as well. Also in the neighborhood is a great Italian restaurant called Roma. The food there is amazing. Overall we enjoyed ourswlves, the pool was a bonus after a hot round of golf. I would definitely stay here again despite communication issues.

Perfect place for peace and solitude while we were here dealing with my aged father's medical emergency. The house was very clean, kitchen well equipped, and beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a great house in a great neighborhood. The management/owner/host are responsive and terrific to work with .Booking and check-in were easy and seamless.
This house enters through a foyer into a large living room/sitting room with sliders out to the pool. To the left is the master suite with privacy from the other bedrooms. The pictures show a lot of pink, however, in real life it's not overwhelming. There are a lot of mirrors in the bedroom and a modern adjustable bed. For those not familiar, and we were not, this means that there are two separate mattresses on the king bed so that each side can be adjusted to the desired firmness. But this also means that there is a seem down the middle of the bed which causes the couple to remain separate. The master bathroom has a separate shower and tub, two sinks. The pictures don't do the bathroom justice, it is spacious but missing luxurious touches and fixtures. The shower has a wand shower head.
The kitchen is medium with decent counter space and an Keurig coffee maker as well as a standard drip coffee maker. The cookware, glassware, flatware etc. is not new or standard. It feels like you are staying in someone's house who has accumulated this mix match of accessories over the years. There is not a lot of tupperware or containers. There was some standard spices, but other standard items like plastic wrap and tinfoil and ziplock bags had to be purchased.
The dining room is lovely with a glass table and comfortable chairs. There is also a separate kitchenette set adjacent to the kitchen and living room.
The living room has great furniture that seems fairly new and the seats in the love seat and couch recline have motorized recline. The TV and sound system is a little complicated to work but there are written instructions which are easy to follow.
The second bathroom is pretty standard with a tub and wanded shower head.
The other two bedrooms we didn't use but they are on the right side of the house by the living room and second bathroom.
The pool area is large with a brand new Weber grill. We didn't use the pool but the screened in pool area is a fantastic amenity.
The neighborhood is upscale and terrific. All the neighbors we met on our walks around the neighborhood were very nice. This is a great house that feels like you have lived in the neighborhood and in the house for years, versus staying at a commercial rental. We would stay here again at the right price.
