Nestled in Port St. Lucie’s serene Sandpiper Bay neighborhood, Lanai on the Preserve is a charming 3 bedroom / 3 bathroom pet friendly pool home located on the grounds of the old Sandpiper Bay Golf Course which is now a nature preserve. With a beautiful view of the natural landscape, the screened-in back patio features a heated salt-water pool and expansive sitting area. Inside, the open layout is perfect for families to relax, unwind, and have fun.
Our home features a master bedroom with king bed, TV, ensuite bathroom, and direct pool access. The second bedroom has a queen bed, couch, desk, and TV. The third bedroom features two twin beds and an ensuite bathroom with a bathtub. The kitchen has a large island with countertop seating and is fully outfitted with modern appliances and everything you need to make and enjoy delicious meals. Beyond the kitchen is a large dining table, sitting area, and comfortable living room with a large TV and pull-out sofa. Enjoy some nostalgia with a collection of DVDs and board games. Forgot your vacation read? We've got you covered with a large and diverse selection of books for borrowing. Need a bit of exercise? The preserve is open to the public and features an old (not smooth) cart path for miles of walking and enjoying the native and migratory birds and animals that call the preserve home.

With no shortages of things to do, a quiet and beautiful natural setting, and a large comfortable house – we are confident that you will enjoy your stay! Families with kids can enjoy Pioneer Park playground and splash pad just 2 miles from the house. A day trip to the nearby all-inclusive Sandpiper Bay Resort never disappoints with its two pools, multiple bars, water activities and all day buffet options.Less than a mile away is Port St. Lucie’s Saints public golf course, featuring a restaurant and bar with live music. Shopping, restaurants, the Botanical Gardens, and access to US1 are all less than 5 minutes away. Stuart and Jensen Beach, including public ocean beaches, are all less than 20 minutes away.
Our home features a pool heater for added enjoyment during your stay. We typically keep the pool heater off from May through October so please let us know ahead of time if you would like it on during those months. We will always try our best to accommodate your requests but please be aware that the pool takes a day or two to warm up once the heater is turned on.

We enjoyed our stay at this rental. We had a couple of minor issues but the host, Dana, was amazing! She stayed in communication with us and assisted with our issues. This rental comes with a fully stocked kitchen, plenty of garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towel, laundry pods, etc! There is a clean gas grill, a large dining table big enough for family meals, comfy places to sit and read or watch tv, nicely updated bathrooms with soft towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash in each shower, and the mattresses were all very comfortable! There is plenty of room in the driveway for cars. The pool was big and provided a much needed respite from the heat! The covered area provided shade. The golf course, palm trees and abundance of birds made for a beautiful view! Some suggestions would be: providing an couple of outdoor lounge chairs by the pool, a grill brush without wires, a new iron, replacement of the stained rugs in the bedrooms and replacement of the outdoor furniture cushions as many of the chair cushions are pretty thin and worn. It is a peaceful neighborhood and we really enjoyed our family time on the lanai and in the pool! Publix is 7 mins away. The owner, Dana, provided quick communication and assistance. She followed up with us to be sure we were enjoying our stay and had everything we needed. She was quick to resolve issues. The house was clean and comfortable for my family and we would visit again!

Very enjoyable stay for my family. Very roomy, extremely clean, plenty of towels, kitchen accessories, etc. was like home for the week. Pool is very clean. Only minor downside is the golf course that once operated out back is not in operation and due to the winter it’s very brown, but I’m just knit-picking. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
