Good

The hotel room was ok. Food in restaurant was good. Breakfast choices were great with lots of warm and cold choices.

A little oasis

What a lovely location! The whole place is nestled into its own little side the hill. The facilities, rooms are modern, clean and all put together with some taste. I speak no French (and definitely not Flemish!) But it made no difference, all the staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. Restaurant food was also very good.

There was nothing to 'dislike'. I guess some USB charging points in the bedroom... Oh, my mobile reception inside the building was really bad, but I hardly see that being any fault of the hotel, more like local geography. But there is hotel wi-fi, which worked well.

Hotel with a fine restaurant in an attractive setting on a bend in the river Ourthe

We stayed one night at La Passerelle ('The Footbridge'), Chene-a-Han, near Grandhan, en route further south, but now intend to return to it as a destination in its own right. The hotel is fine, good without being magnificent, but the setting - by a bend in the river Ourthe - the staff and the food make it special. The original footbridge is long gone and is now a road bridge, meaning the hotel can be approached from either the east or the west, irrespective of what maps or satnavs might tell you. Clearly, booking is essential for the restaurant, as people had driven from many miles away, including from the Netherlands, to dine here.

doesn’t set up mini bar. so we need go to downstairs to the receptionist just to grab water .

The Booking.com page indicated that they were wheelchair accessible and that they had facilities for disabled guests. Only after I paid did I find out that this is not the case, also I was not able to book alternate accommodation on such short notice. My husband and I decided to go anyway as we had tickets for the F1. The facilities were difficult to navigate with a wheelchair. We ended up leaving a day early (we paid for 3days, stayed only for two days). The lady that was working when I handed in the room key was also very rude and very unhelpful. All in all not a good experience. I hope they will update their Booking.com page for future disabled guests.

Parfait pur un week end cocooning

Tres joli bâtiment , mêlant le charme de la veille pierre et une rénovation moderne . Intérieur joliment décoré. Literie confortable . Buffet déjeuner simple mais de très bonne qualité. Personnel aimable. Salle de bain spacieuse et bien conçue.

Chambre assez petite. Murs en crépi dans la chambre , certainement à rafraîchir un peu. Toilettes dans la salle de bain .

Jamais eu une insonorité comme ça. Très très mauvaise nuit.

Le lit, le déjeuner, l’emplacement

Le bruit (aucune insonorisation de la chambre), la salle de bain (odeur - reflux), on entendait le séchoir des mains aux toilettes jusqu à pas d heures, des gens criaient (saouls?) dans les couloirs.
