Good infrastructure - bad management

Concept of the village is good. The houses, the flowers and the environment is beautiful. We were with children about to learn to swim and the small swimming pool with 120 cm depth was ideal for them to have fun and improve their skills. Children corner is nice.

It looked like that management is unprofessional, probably they cope a lot with saving on manpower costs with staff mostly not speaking English. For example the official brochure says that if you run out of dishwasher tablettes you should simply go to the reception and they will give you more. We were a family of 5 and were there for 5 nights. We received 2 tablettes. When we run out I went to the reception, but they are only their only a few hours a day, next morning the guy on the reception told me that he gives me one tablette, but I must go to the supermarket and buy tablettes if I want more. I was curious how they handle this issue as the situation was unfriendly and went against any normal hotel policy, so I thought I have a try next day. Another staff member gave me 2 tablettes the next day that was enough for us for the rest of the stay. She also asked my room number. When checking out they told me that there is nothing extra to pay just the local tax, but I discovered on the bill that I also paid for the tablettes - which is free of charge according to their service description and there is no price given when you ask for it. So you can feel cheated which does not make sense at all. The hotel also advertises that of you run out of coffee you should simply go to the reception for more - we did not do that but probably they would charge the guest the same way, I am courious what happens if you run out of toilet papers, maybe the same. Otherwise there is no reason for them to do this, the children corner is free of charge and its good. There is yoga in the morning - also a good service included in the price, why they miscommunicate about a 30 pence tablette is simply stupid management. The apartment maintenance seems not properly organised. When we moved in the exhaust fan in the kitchen did not work, the tap was loose in the kitchen basin and there was no internet. It was fixed during our stay - but looks like there is no real quality check for the service.

great location for a short stay with kids.

- great breakfast with lots of variety, fresh foods and local produce. - large outdoor play area, warm swimming pool and a collection of games (Table tennis, Frisbee golf etc)

Bathroom was small and dated. This could do with a renovation. The room was big enough, but could get cramped if you were there longer. Not much space for luggge.

Amazing resort for our family

I was so surprised how much we LOVED this place. I always feel more comfortable when I see other families around, and there were plenty. There were mountain bikes parked outside most rooms, the village area was quaint and lovely to walk through. The restaurant was good, the lake and dock area was superb!! We laid in the lounge chair on the grass and played in the lake all day. I felt safe having my kids roam free to play on the playground or explore on their own. Very fun family friendly resort. In addition to jumping off the dock into the lake, the kids loved the pool, ping pong table, volleyball court, playground and all the other kids friendly areas. We were truly sad we had to leave. (I asked to extend our stay but they were booked full). We will be back for sure.

A little gem, beaufiful inside out

Excellent location, lots of open space in the plot, places for the kids to run around, play football, etc. Nice little beach with crystal clear water. Also nice food in the restaurant. And the staff was very helpful (and generous, since we accidentally broke a small peace of inventory).

The water pump in the children's playground was disfunctional.

I would refurbish bathrooms and improve the communication between the reception staff and the restaurant. My reservation included breakfast, the service in the restaurant was not aware of that.

Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis war unangemessen.

Die Lage direkt am See ist hervorragend. Der Dorfwirt war ausgezeichnet und preislich in Ordnung. Der Spielplatz für die Kinder ist sehr nett.

Die Unterkunft war nicht sauber, sehr abgewohnt und wurde offensichtlich lange nicht mehr saniert; die Instandhaltung lässt zu Wünschen übrig. Personal war kaum anzutreffen. Die Bar am Strand hatten während unseres Aufenthaltes nur einmal offen, was sehr schade war. Leider wurden wir bei der Abreise auch nicht gefragt, ob wir mit dem Aufenthalt zufrieden waren - Kritik wollte wohl nicht gehört werden.

Erholsamer Familienurlaub am See

Die Lage am See, mit den verstreuten hübschen Häusern. Ausreichend Platz, guter Buchungslage wirkte die Anlage nicht überfüllt. Wir können das Hoteldorf für einen Familienurlaub jedenfalls empfehlen.

Das vierte Bett für unsere 2. Tochter war nicht vorbereitet, wir haben es selbst überziehen müssen. Für diese Preiskategorie fände ich es auch angemessen, für Kinder ein richtiges Bett und kein Schlafsofa anzubieten. Die Dusche war einwandfrei sauber, der Abfluss hat aber sehr unangenehm gerochen, eventuell müsste man hier den Siphon tauschen - wir hatten 16.1 (als Info).

Schöner Kurzurlaub

Gute Lage, eine sehr schöne Anlage und ein schöner Strand. Das Appartement ist sehr großzügig und hat eine voll ausgestattete Küche (Nespresso Maschine, Teekocher, Geschirrspüler, Mikrowelle usw.).

Ein paar Kleinigkeiten passen nicht zum Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. - Heizkörper hing runter - Ameisen in WC und Küche - Antennensteckdose ausgebrochen - Duschkopf locker - unfreundliche, unmotivierte Bedienung im Restaurant (Dorfwirt)
