Villa Levanda - Three Bedroom Villa, Sleeps 5

Well Appointed Villa in the Hills The villa and all communication were via Agni Travel who were excellent. Their Skopelos representative, Evi, was outstanding; always on WhatsApp to answer questions and respond quickly to any issues raised. Sometimes when you book a villa, you’re not quite sure who you are dealing with or even if it exists! Agni Travel and Evi were a constant source of reassurance and gave us peace of mind both before, during and after our stay. THE GOOD Views - high in hills so sweeping forests and the sea in the far distance. No sunsets as wrong side of the island! Property - peaceful & spacious, ‘upside-down’ Villa with lounge and kitchen at the top, study with one single bed (& fan) then 2 main bedrooms (with AC) downstairs. Mozzie nets on all doors and windows. Kitchen - well equipped with microwave, kettle and toaster plus an excellent American fridge. AirCon - Didn’t use it - but in the 2 downstairs bedrooms, ceiling fan in upstairs study bedroom and a wonderful ceiling fan in kitchen/lounge area. Outside Area - good sized balcony leading out from the lounge and nice patio immediately in front of the house Very good communication with Agni Travel rep Evi; responses quick & helpful. Pool - a good size. A short stroll as it is on a lower level. Sunbeds and parasols provided. THE NOT SO GOOD Wifi - short range so only good inside on top floor in lounge/kitchen or on immediate balcony outside. However we did have a reasonable phone signal so we’re able to use our mobile data. Some Mozzie nets in need of repairing. Pool - Cold (early Sept). No pool towels provided. Only one out of 2 filters working which resulted in debris down the shallow end. Pool net needs replacing. BBQ - charcoal and on another level so not best placed but well equipped. Location - a car is required and there is at least 5mins of very rocky road plus the road is narrow and hilly the moment you leave Skopelos. 15mins from Scopelos Town. The villa is quite isolated for us (a plus for others perhaps) and we did not relish driving down the dirt track. Villa on multiple different levels (could be a plus for big group!) with many steps/slopes. Slight noise from neighbouring Villa Aetos which is immediately above the villa patio/balcony.

We had a wonderful stay in Villa Levanda and would highly recommend it to others. It is down a dirt track, a few miles from Skopelos Town, so hire cars need to be 4-wheel drive! The villa is very private, with beautiful views of wooded valleys down to the sea. We loved the terrace on the villa, where we spent evenings. The pool area was also wonderful. The pool itself was cleaned several times and the perople who serviced the villa were all very friendly. It was spotlessly clean. Skopelos is quiet and incredibly beautiful. It was a perfect island for mornings at the beach and afternoons by the pool. Several times we got a taxi into Skopelos Town by ordering on line and walking to the main road - 5 mins walk. The Town is very family orientated, and most tourists are Greek. We will definitely return.
