The home is amazing. From the overall modern feel, perfect layout, quiet and spacious bedrooms, this cabin is a must stay! The driveway, although straight, is incredibly steep so do keep that in mind depending on the weather. Overall proximity to the Gatlinburg strip was second to none.

We loved our stay here, the owners were super communicative and nice. We were able to get early check in and the view was just gorgeous!! There were a few cons to consider however they do not outweigh the pros!- there were multiple black ants we found in the house and that was a little gross but I’m not sure if it’s just the season or what not.- one of the beds on the third floor was very lumpy. My husband ended up sleeping on the bunk beds instead of the main one because of this he felt the bed did a v in the middle.

We had an absolutely amazing time at The Hideaway cabin for my family’s Christmas trip! It was everything we hoped for and more. Our jaw dropped seeing how beautiful this cabin was…we even walked in to Christmas music & a beautiful lit up tree! The cabin was cozy, super clean, well stocked and beautifully decorated with all the amenities we needed. The views were stunning and the peaceful surroundings made it the perfect getaway. The host was very communicative and helpful, which made the whole experience even better. We highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat in the mountains you will not be disappointed!. Can’t wait to return!

There were 7 of us who stayed (6 adults and a lucky 10 year old). All of us were incredibly happy with this home. It is obviously extremely beautiful It was super clean and well stocked. There are multiple little areas you can sneak off to. Should you want to with (most likely) having a good sized group staying there. All of us would absolutely book this home again. If you want a location that is not too far from downtown Gatlinburg, and not too terribly far from Pigeon Forge, As well as up the mountain and off the beaten path a bit, this place is for you.

Our stay with this host has been nothing short of a headache. It started off with this specific cabin being closed due to a plumbing issue, just 30 min outside of us reaching Gatlinburg. We were placed in another location that would be perfect for a bachelor or bachelorette party, but was not suitable for a family at all. Not only was there not a view of the mountains, but it was a smaller cabin with less bedrooms and was not family friendly. Curse words on decor, a 20 ft demon Halloween decoration on the lawn that couldn’t be removed, let alone the swings on the island (cute idea - but almost led to hospital visits for our young kids multiple times.) Maybe it all seems irrelevant to you, but when you spend the amount of money we did for a 3 night stay at a more family friendly location, you can feel pretty let down with all that I mentioned above. By the time we arrived to our replacement cabin, it was bedtime and although we felt super uncomfortable with the lawn ornament, we needed rest so we stayed for the night. We were graciously offered a refund for the remainder of our stay and we took the host up on this. We found another cabin for the rest of our stay. Fast forward a week, and after the runaround we are finally being processed a refund. Not the amount we were once promised but I am beyond happy to be done with VRBO and the host. Again, I can’t speak to this specific cabin because we didn’t actually get the chance to stay here.

The kitchen is well stocked - possibly the best VRBO we’ve stayed in that category with nice appliances. Loved the Fall decor - the house feels new and all bathrooms are very nice with a large laundry room. The deck from the hot tub to the fire pit and lights is awesome along with the second and third floor decks with great views. Perfect house for kids of all ages for comfort and entertaining. Would definitely stay again.

Treacherous and dangerous commute to the cabin and equally dangerous drive up the driveway. They do not tell you this in the description. The roads are extremely winding and unsafe. We had one car come off the driveway which resulted in damage to the front end of her car. No hand towels in any of the bathrooms, no kitchen wash rags or drying cloths, no blender, no mixer or pitcher for making tea. Cabin was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated.

It was just as beautiful as the pictures! We received a warm welcome with music playing as we entered! Tons of space for all of us. There were only a few things that needed attention. The pool table cue sticks did not have tips and there wasn’t any chalk. The hot tub cover looks like it’s been through the wringer. Just minor things!

The drive to the cabin is very curvy and the driveway is steep but once you are there you are literally on top of a mountain and the view is amazing! The cabin is absolutely gorgeous and very well stocked. There are no bedrooms on the main floor, however there is a pull out sleeper sofa and a half bath. My mother in law is unable to climb stairs so that’s where she stayed. Do NOT leave ANY food in your vehicles! We were not aware that bears can open car doors and our vehicles were raided by a bear! The only thing it did was make a mess and take our snacks! No damage though which I was thankful for! What a memorable vacation! The communication with the owners and their assistant was great as well! We would definitely stay here again!! We loved it!!

The house was absolutely amazing and the view was even better. The hosts were amazing at reaching out around check in. Spent most days in the house, relaxing and playing pool. Make sure all car doors are locked, we saw bears all 3 days and they tried to open the car doors.

I was excited to plan a trip to this place. It looked beautiful. I booked way in advance and needed to change my dates. They quickly changed the dates and I kept asking for the refund of the day last that we werent going to stay… And it was a mission. Still almost a year later I’ve ever been reimbursed, VRBO sent me on a rabbit hole, mission to get anything resolved and always a stating they can’t get a hold of these tenants. The tenants never sent my money back. So sad about the customer service of all of this and the lack of care about people’s money. VRBO also is lacking for not taking the responsibility to give people their money back. Don’t book if you plan to change anything unless you plan to get lawyers involved.

We had a wonderful, comfortable and easy stay with these hosts. We encountered a few very minor and small issues and they were very responsive to messages and offered quality solutions. The beds were extremely comfortable. Luxurious primary bath. Gorgeous views from the living room and decks. Well-stocked kitchen. Can’t wait to stay here again!

The property is beautiful. Just a few things to take not of. Bring your toiletries, your trash bags, wood for the fireplace, extra towels. There was a letter sent out the day I left for gatlinburg by that time we had already done all our grocery shopping/target runs and just wanted to relax at the cabin.
