Located halfway between Bordeaux and Toulouse, in Barbaste (47) in southwestern France, we offer you a haven of peace far from pollution, at the foot of the Landes de Gascogne.
At the gateway to the Gers, not far from the Pyrenees and the Atlantic beaches, you’ll find yourself in a peaceful setting renowned for its history and cuisine: the heart of L’Albret.
Located 5–10 minutes from downtown shops and big-box stores, there are numerous activities available during your stay, all within easy reach:
Hiking, golf, horseback riding, amusement parks, tree-top adventure courses, canoeing, vineyard tours, and visits to historic sites, etc.
The house can accommodate 4 to 6 people. It features an entryway with a washing machine, two bedrooms with private bathrooms and toilets on the first floor, and a large living area upstairs with a view of the forest. It also features a large 10x5m swimming pool. You’ll have self-service access to the vegetable garden and chicken coop on the 6,000m² property.
Included services: Wi-Fi, TV, Netflix, linens (sheets, bath towels, etc.), and end-of-stay cleaning.

Lovely gite, equipped with everything needed to cook and clean. The bedrooms are on the ground floor, assuring a cool night's sleep if the shutters are kept shut during the day. Great view from the upstairs kitchen/lounge. Everything in very good working order.
The pool is fabulous and the location very very quiet and yet close to shops etc (a short drive away).
The host was very discreet, yet thoughtful: one evening he came to tell us that a thunderstorm was forecast which might bring heavy hail, so he had rang the farmer next door to us to get permission for us to put our car under his hangar to prevent any possible damage! In the end, there was no hail but we really appreciated his action. We will happily book again in the future.

Très beau gîte confortable, bien équipé et idéalement situé. Au calme, nous avons pu profiter de la piscine (26°). Beaucoup d endroits à visiter et pas mal de randonnée soit à travers les vignes soit le long de la baïse. Propriétaire très accueillant et avenant.
