Situated close to the beautiful bastide village of Fources and only 5 minutes away from 2 other of France's officially listed prettiest villages(Montreal and Larresingle) Le Petit Rouchino is located at the end of it's own private drive. Secluded but with great views of the picturesque village of Larroque (a few minutes walk away)and the rolling Gers countryside. It is impossible to underestimate the location the property enjoys being ideally situated within the so-called 'Golden Triangle' of Montreal, Fources and the cathedral town of Condom.

The old farm is situated on a hill in between fields filled with sunflowers and vines. We stayed there with our 3 daughters (17, 18 and 19) and some of their friends. The house and grounds are big enough so that everyone has enough privacy and room. Dudley (the owner) is a very kind and generous host. He was staying in a nearby village but came by a couple of times to clean the pool or help us out with things.

A beautiful, family friendly farmhouse set in some of the most stunning French countryside imaginable. All the up-to-date facilities you could possibly need to have a fantastic stay. We enjoyed the pool every morning, noon and night. Ping pong or badminton we'd usually play late afternoon before having a BBQ and watching the sun set. If we were tired we could relax and watch a film on the huge TV. Otherwise we would go for an evening meal in Fources or the night market in Nerac (which is a must!). Days were filled by either sunbathing, swimming or visiting the copious amount of vineyards or shopping in Condom. we will be back again soon! Also, if you are like me and find it hard to completely detach from the office, it is possible to remotely log in using the WiFi.

We had a great time, lots of accommodation with a lovely outdoor eating area great for the family to sit together. Tucked away in it's own grounds with outdoor swimming pool. Lovely villages nearby, and within easy reach of Condom and Nerac. The French markets are great, with plenty of amenities to occupy the children nearby. Within easy reach of supermarkets, and Fources has a great shop selling daily bread and croissants.

Plenty of excellent places to eat. Local farmers sell their own produce
From their houses nearby.
Great for kids, water parks tree climbing French markets table tennis
And tennis. With a lot more besides.
