Cottage converted from a former watermill, adjoining another house. Ground floor: living/dining room with fireplace and stereo system, kitchen, 2 bedrooms (1 double bed, 2 twin beds), bathroom (bath and shower), toilet. Upstairs: 4 bedrooms (1 four-poster bed, 1 double bed, 1 double bed, 2 sets of bunk beds and 1 single bed), shower room, toilet. Beds made upon arrival. Wi-Fi. Private enclosed garden of 1100 m², terrace (garden furniture, deck chairs, barbecue, children's play area). Small enclosed terrace at the rear overlooking a pond and river. Small private pond on the property. Bed linen provided.
Optional extras: End-of-stay cleaning: €90/stay; Towel rental: €7/person/stay.

We have been coming every year to la Vendée to visit my family. We have stayed in numerous gites over the years. This is by far the best place! The owners are lovely, great communication and we all appreciated the biscuits on our arrival. The gite is very well equipped, everything you can think of is there and more. The outside is huge and very calming. We stayed 11 nights and didn't want it to end. Our dog had a lovely time, some great walks around the corner from the gite and the people of the little village were all very friendly. We will definitely come back! We all had the best time.
