Villa Palma Rovinj

This is better than just an apartment, this is a home. Great hosts, great location (multiple beaches and a store at just few minutes of walk). The home-grown vegetables were so delicious! Furniture and equipment, everything was as expected, washing machine was a life saver with 3 kids.

Small technical glitches occured sometimes with the WiFi. The signal was strong, but sometimes could not handle all the devices (8 that we had, plus folks in other apartments) that were trying to connect simultaneously.

Fantastic location near my he beaches in a quite residential area. Owners are great, responsive and accommodating. Internet speed is very good. Konzum is 1-2 min walk via the back garden gate.

There is a lot of “stuff” in the kitchen.

This is a very good place to stay in Rovinj! Good location, very nice, clean and well furnished apartment with comfortable beds! The apartment is spacious, especially the living room which has a beautiful view of the city and the sea. Very kind hosts. I can only recommend this apartment.

Although there were private parking spaces, they were full and we had to park in a public parking lot a bit further from the apartment. We didn't expect that. The apartment is on the 3th floor. There is no elevator in the building and it is not recommended for people who cannot climb stairs from health reasons, but that wasn't a problem for us.

Great shop and restaurant nearby. A cafe and a couple of bars. Great views of swifts and bats from balcony. Welcome air con. Good bathroom.

We thought we had booked villa palma but were in a set of apartments in the same building called villa tanja.... Sadly we didn't meet the host. Walk to town via road v hot but we Discovered a route via park/ forest which was better and very pretty but long in the heat (would have been good to have a little welcome information pack detailing local routes). Our neighbours both inside the block and in neighbouring residential flats could be noisy and inconsiderate. It would be good to have a freezer compartment in fridge and a more stable WiFi. Mismatched glassware and random christmas crockery along with some very old and spoiled chocolates in a dish was a bit weird! 😉
