Everything you need for a lovely stay in Frome. In town but quiet and comfortable

Nothing The security light wasn’t working so pretty dark at night to open the door, but not a problem really, we didn’t bother the owners as it wasn’t a real problem, only adding this so they know to fix it

Cosy relaxing cottage.

The location was quiet but central and the cottage had everything we needed. The small back secluded garden was perfect to relax in.

Second visit here and thinking about a third so clearly not much I dislike.

A fine place in a classic little workers cottage. The hill provides a good aerobic workout.

The location is excellent at the top of Catherine St. Sheppard's Barton is quiet and quaint. The owners are attentive and helpful.

The little outdoor space is a quiet place for a Glass of wine at the end of the day

The perfect place to stay in Frome!

Would definitely recommend this property! It was an absolutely perfect location. Quirky decoration, with a cosy feel to add to the atmosphere of Frome. It was equipped with everything you could need and more! Would 100% stay here again!

The only issue we had was the tv connection wasn’t great to most channels but this didn’t affect our stay!

Absolutely everything! this place is a gem. really well equipped. the attention to detail is amaze. they have quality products in the bathroom, not the cheap stuff. there is shampoo, body and hand wash and also conditioner. we were so grateful for the two umbrellas as we did need them! very attentive! the bedroom bed is very comfortable, really appreciated the blackout blind as my partner is super sensitive to light even if he wears an eye mask. the kitchen is much better equipped than what I am used to at holiday homes. water pressure is perfect! The bathtub is really spacious, I’m very tall but I could still lie down in it - couldn’t straight my legs fully but it was still very comfortable-. the location is just a minute away from the centre. there are many bars, cute little shops and restaurants, cafes nearby.

I think you need to change the battery in the tv remote. that’s all really.

Ideal location for a short break, tucked away, yet so close to all that Frome has to offer.

The location was perfect for ease of access to the shops, cafes, restaurants at all times of the day and evening. It was super quiet. All that we needed for our stay in this wonderful little town.

The shower curtain rail fell down but it was not a problem. I probably pulled it a little too hard and it is not fixed in place. Access for unloading our bags. My husband has had a knee operation this summer so we have become more aware of access, pathways, steps, etc. Once we found the way to reverse down Shepherds Barton it was not a problem.

Perfect location - just a few steps from the town centre. Lovely little suntrap out back.

Overall we were happy, but we were disappointed by the presentation of a supposed premium property. More attention to detail is needed; e.g. lamp in lounge not working, no useable bowls in the kitchen, no ice tray in the freezer, front of boiler was broken, front door lock falling apart. This is one of a number of properties operated by a letting company and more needs to be done to justify its premium, boutique description.
