I cannot say enough amazing things about Sheelin Huts. Everyone was so welcoming, thank you! We really enjoyed our stay. We were greeted by Margaret and the cutest Collie ever! Upon entering the hut area we were super excited to see how cute it was, and excited to get into the hot tub. Everything was clean, there were plenty of blankets and pillows! The bathroom was nice and shower was perfect!

We have nothing bad to say about this place. Everything was fantastic!

The atmosphere, the cabin was adorable but a lot more roomy than it felt like. We had tons of fun in the area and it was great returning to the warm and snug cabin to rest.

Can't think of anything, maybe the fact we only stayed for 3 days, we could have been there a week.

The hut itself is lovely, clean, and comfy. it’s very private, in a beautiful location. the private hot tub was spotless, and a real treat. Gary and Margaret are both really lovely and welcoming, and are available if you need anything.

Beautiful location, host was lovely, kind and welcoming, very friendly dog too. Hut was immaculate and extremely cosy with a very comfy bed set up perfectly for nights in watching Netflix.

Welcoming cozy little house with every you could want for a quiet getaway

Everything! Hut was immaculately clean, arrived to find juice, milk, bread, butter and jams. Very easy to find & parking is accessible, along with feeling very private and secure Bed was very comfortable and even staying this time of year (Mid February) the place was warm the whole stay WiFi was consistent we used it to watch a movie on Netflix that was uninterrupted Shower was hot and pressure was there

Highly recommend - great hostesses

Breakfast was great had choice from eggs, creal, oatmeal, fresh homemade bread, 2 jams, coffe, tea, jug milk and oj. The hut had a sitting area outback, solar sensor lights. They had a binder of gow to work stuff, local attractions and places to eat. Made you feel like you were at home with many necessities you need!! Met me at car when I got there as I gave them an approximate time of arrival🙂

A peaceful and pretty location that allowed us to visit this lovely farming area.

Although the jokey was in a lockbox the lovely host greeted us. Breakfast ingredients were provided, including tea, ground coffee and a plunger or French press as well as instant, eggs, bread, several cereal varieties, milk and juice.

The bed was very comfortable but given this is a tiny house it was against a wall and my husband had to climb over me to get to the toilet in the night. Also some noise from traffic started around 5.30 am. It didn’t wake me but my husband heard it. None of this is major and overall our experience was excellent.

Total relaxation in a wonderful setting!

Just back from a wonderful stay in Sheelin Shepherds hut. Gary had everything thought out so well, from the perfect layout and decor of the hut down to the additional little add ons of breakfast items and treats on arrival. The hut was spotless and very cosy. The little information pack was greatly appreciated. Look forward to returning in the future!

Cosy and enjoyable stay

The hut was just like in the pictures. Everything was very clean and well thought out - with a place to put your shoes and a shoe brush, board games, extra blankets & pillows, even an iron and mini closet. There's a microwave, kettle, pots and pans in the kitchen if you need to do some light cooking. Our stay was very comfortable and we enjoyed meeting Bradley the dog! Location: Gary provided pictures guiding us to the hut and its parking area which was very useful. The hut is near multiple small towns, and it's only a 10min drive to get food/groceries. Gary was very friendly and had good suggestions for nearby attractions to visit. Unfortunately it rained on our last day so we didn't get to see as much as we'd have liked to. Amenities: Smart TV, came equipped with Netflix & Amazon Prime accounts. Wifi was fast! Room: The room was spotless when we checked in, and the bed was extremely comfy and warm. The heating, shower, and toilet worked well. Breakfast: Some bread, butter, jams, and eggs were provided which was nice. The kitchen also had oats, Weetabix and cornflakes. There were also Tayto crisps, as well as orange juice and milk in the fridge. Gary was nice enough to provide us with another bottle of orange juice after we mentioned that we liked it. :)

The whole location was beautiful, with Gary a very welcoming host and the hut itself just stunning! It wants for nothing - beautiful shower, bed, hob and basket full of food goodies! It was very cosy and just a lovely place to stay.
