About this house rental
Freshly renovated Normandy farmhouse in a countryside and wooded setting, along the Charentonne. Located 2.5 kms from the center of Bernay, labeled "cities and country of art and history".
Ideally located 140 kms from Paris (accessible by train) / 60 kms from Deauville and Honfleur / 80 kms from the landing beaches.
Many activities nearby: Horse riding; Golf du Champ de Bataille; Laser game; Go-karting; Brionne water sports centre; Walks on the greenway linking Bernay to Broglie... Cinema and Theatre.
The house consists of:
a living room with wood burner / satellite TV;
dining room;
large fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher; washing machine; fridge / freezer; small appliances (coffee maker; kettle; food processor...)
3 real bedrooms, one of which is on the first floor (1 bed 160 x 190 / 1 bed 140 x 190 and 2 twin beds 90 x 190)
1 bathroom with walk-in shower on the first floor
Fenced garden with charcoal barbecue, dining table and outdoor lounge
From May to the end of September, we have a heated swimming pool, on another part of our estate, which can be privatized by you 2 hours a day depending on your availability and on a time slot to be defined daily.
Possibility of renting 4 adult bikes

We had a lovely time here. The gîte is set in a green valley on a quiet country road, but is only a 5 minute drive from Bernay (and the Intermarché).Sylvie and Hubert were very friendly and helpful - recommending a local restaurant for a celebration and even booking it for us!The swimming pool arrangement suited us fine and we could choose what time to use it each day.We had a relaxing 10 days here and would recommend!

This cottage is a haven. So peaceful, homely and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed and the owners were close by to answer any questions we had.
