Welcome to the Schwarzenbach Apartments in the beautiful Black Forest—your vacation apartments with an on-site pool. Eighteen cozy and modern vacation apartments await you, each offering a wonderful view of the ski slope and the beautiful natural surroundings of the Hochschwarzwald Nature Park. Pure relaxation, without any of the hustle and bustle of a hotel. Ideal for your Black Forest vacation with children or as a couple. Nestled in the heart of nature, this is the perfect starting point for an active day of hiking, mountain biking, or skiing. Water sports enthusiasts will also be delighted, as the most beautiful Black Forest lakes are just a few minutes’ drive away. And when you’re happy and tired from all the activities—or simply want to unwind—our vacation apartments with a pool (on the top floor) offer you a private wellness area with a sauna, steam room, and relaxation room, a fitness room with state-of-the-art equipment, and a game room—exclusively for our guests. Look forward to a bright, stylish, and cozy atmosphere. Plenty of wood with a modern twist gives your vacation that typical Black Forest feel: rustic and refreshing at the same time. In the summer, the large windows offer a beautiful view of nature and the goat barn. In the winter, you can watch the kids skiing and sledding right from the vacation apartment. All vacation apartments with a pool (on the top floor) are perfectly designed for self-catering. You’ll find a fully equipped kitchen, beautiful bedrooms with comfortable mattresses, and a stylish bathroom where you can relax. And, of course, our exclusive rooftop pool in the gabled roof. Rustic and cozy, yet refreshingly modern—that’s the contemporary Black Forest design of our vacation apartments with a pool. You’ll find plenty of wood here, modernly combined with local materials like glass and stone. The house itself is built into the hillside in the typical Black Forest style. At the rear, we took our cue from traditional mountain farms, where the driveway to the barn is elevated. That’s where we’ve located the delivery point for the wood chips we use to power our own wood-chip heating system—the centerpiece of our sustainable energy concept. As guests of our vacation apartments with a pool, you’ll of course have free access to our rooftop pool and the other wellness facilities on the upper floor. Just press the elevator button, and you’ll be there in no time. Here, in the pool’s 30-degree water, you can relax comfortably, enjoy the view, and swim from the inside out—an experience not just for winter. The rooftop pool is located in the gable roof of the apartment building and is exclusively accessible to guests staying in our 18 vacation apartments. In addition to the rooftop pool, you’ll find a Finnish sauna, a steam room, and a Black Forest relaxation room—all exclusively for our guests and included in the room rate. This way, you can unwind perfectly after an active day in the fresh Black Forest air. And if you’re looking for a bit more action, simply work out on the state-of-the-art equipment in our fitness room. The ambiance is designed entirely with your relaxation in mind. The stylish wood paneling creates that authentic Black Forest feel with a contemporary twist. Lose track of time on one of the comfortable indoor loungers or soak up some extra sunshine while relaxing in the pool. And if you’d like to lose yourself in an interesting book, our cozy designer loungers are perfect for that. Our Schwarzenbach Rooftop Pool isn’t actually located on the roof itself, but is an infinity pool situated directly beneath the gable. So here, you can enjoy a Black Forest-style rooftop pool: high up in the fresh air, away from the hustle and bustle, and therefore simply wonderfully relaxing. Simply linger in the pleasantly warm water, take in the scenery, and relax in peace. Please note: The pool is 135 cm deep, making it suitable even for older children. Younger children must be supervised at all times. Our vacation apartments with a pool are located on the southwestern edge of Altglashütten—and thus right in the heart of nature. Hiking trails and bike paths run right past the house. The ski slope, featuring a toboggan run and three ski runs of varying difficulty levels, is directly across the way. The most beautiful Black Forest lakes are just a few minutes away.
