A great vacation for families

Our vacation was wonderful, from the location (splendid view) to host hospitality. The house is very close to the beach wich has facilities (sunbeds and umbrellas). Alexandros helped us with everything we needed without disturbing us. The location is near to allknown beaches. Conclusion: We strongly recommend the location for a peaceful and quiet journey.

Peaceful vacations

Our flight was significantly delayed, and unfortunately, we arrived at the house four hours later than planned. It was 3 a.m., the middle of the night, yet the owner waited for us and even served us a welcome drink. This level of hospitality is truly rare. The house is in a prime location if you're looking to relax and enjoy a peaceful summer. The view from the terrace is absolutely stunning—you can admire the bay, the lights from nearby towns, and the moon rising behind Mount Athos, all while enjoying the refreshing breeze on a hot summer night. There are no bars nearby, so nightlife won’t disturb your sleep. It takes just five minutes to walk down the hill to a very quiet, discreet beach. The owner had already prepared sunbeds and umbrellas for us. We were more or less alone on a 300-meter-long sandy beach. It felt almost too private. The water was crystal clear and pleasantly warm. There’s plenty of space around the house. Two outdoor tables—one on each side—let you enjoy both breakfast and dinner in the shade. There's also a large backyard where kids can play. The owner even built a trampoline for them. The house comfortably accommodates seven people. Four beds are located in the basement room, while three beds are on the first floor (indoor balcony). The ground floor includes a small, well equipped kitchen, a dining table, a bathroom with washing machine and a cozy living room with air-conditioning and a small TV. A big shout-out to the owner! He offers great advice on which beaches are worth visiting and shares fascinating stories and legends about Greece. He and his family are incredibly helpful—we were truly happy to meet them. We loved to chat with them every day.

It was very hot when we were there. The very top bed room can be quite warm if you turn off the air-conditioning during the night.

Great villa for a relaxing vacation with your family, close to the quiet beach.

The villa itself is really really good. The bottom floor bedroom is great for a good night sleep, it's cold, dark and spacious. There is a gallery above a living room (upper floor) where our kids could play. There are two outdoor dinning tables, which is great as you can choose based on the morning / afternoon shade. The owners live in the villa next door. They are very social and were accessible for anything we needed.

WiFi internet is quite bad. You can check your mail, but that's as good as it gets. If I were planning to work from the house it would have been impossible. However, Alexis confirmed that he'll try to improve this which is good :)

Best holiday! Highly recommend!

The house is located 2 minutes away from the beach and it overlooks the sea. The house is specious and fully equipt for you to feel at home away from home. As well it is very close to Ierissos, where you can find bars, restaurants, Lidl and Masoutis. Me and my family has been going on a holiday in Greece for the past 11 years in a different cities and this is the best place that we have ever been. The host Alexi and his family are wonderful people, always there to help you. Thank you for everything!

Excellent family vacation!

Great location, very close to the beach. The view is amazing. Waking up every morning and seeing the see in front of you is like a dream. The place is easy to reach, parking the car in front of the house is convenient and useful. The neighbors are quiet, the town is only 5 minutes away by car and there you can find everything - shops (Masoutis/Lidl), restaurants (Zorbas is very good!), pharmacies, bakeries, etc. The hosts are great - friendly and hospitable - will tell you stories about nearby sights and guide you to good restaurants and shops. There is no issue with the water pressure in the bathroom, unlike so many other places close to the beach in Greece. It was clean and cosy. Well equipped kitchen, where you can cook your own meals and eat them on the veranda with a great sea view. Altogether very pleased with the experience. Recommended!

A relaxing time in Ierissos

Together with my boyfriend we spent a lovely vacation at Villa Katevi. From the moment of our arrival until the end of our stay we felt welcomed and taken care by Alex and his family. The villa itself was clean and equipped with everything you need. The vue of the sea and Mount Atos was breathtaking. The beach was private, so it was not crowded and the water was cristal clear. Alex was kind enough to let us borrow sunbeds and umbrellas also to share with us information about the history of the place, of what we should visit and what is worth to see. He and his wife were extremely helpful and nice with us. It was cozy, calm and relaxing. If you are looking for such kind of vacation where you are among the nature enjoying the peace and the silence but not too far from the town then I strongly recommend you to pick Villa Katevi. You will not regret.

The fact that the toilets are on the ground floor, but the sleeping areas are both on the 1st floor and the basement. We can't blame the owner for this, it's not a big deal.

Superb

The house is very well located on top of the beach. It was exceptionally clean and very well equipped. The host , Alexis was very helpful and approachable all the time. It is best for one big family. The beach is 5 min walk from the house and provides good privacy, as there are no too many people there.

The only thing which is missing are more trees or awnings to provide better shade during the hot days. Alexis told us that he is planning to build canopies for next summer.

Best combi of a host and apparements we have ever met

The location is 5 minutes away from a small city, where you can find several caffes and two supermarkets. Due to the location the villa provides exceptional comfort for people who are looking for a peaceful and quiet place. We were met by a very hospitable host Alexis, who was very helpful during a whole stay. There is a private beach 2-3 minutes walking distance from the villa, that villa guests have access to free of charge – no crowd, safe, and, compare to many of beaches in the area – it is sandy with no stones, so getting into the sea is charm. The villa has 3 levels – one large bed on the top level, common place and kitchen on the ground level and large sleeping area with one large an 2 normal beds in the level below the ground – that keep the temperature on the level comfortable for sleeping. The house is new and clean, comfortable beds, all facilities are new and as mentioned in the description, washing machine - a BIG plus, kitchen is fully stocked, hot water 24/7. There is even a possibility to make a grill (if you have purchased sausages in advance in these supermarkets 😊). Outdoor dining with a seaview every day is fantastic. Safe and isolated area, surrounded by gardens, no roads nearby, so kids could play outside the house. For people who is about to spend more than several days there is max 20 minutes by car to other beaches in the area, also to ferries. We recommend this place for families and these who prefer peaceful vacation. When it comes to our next vacation in that area, we will prefer to stay in that house again.

Highly recommended Alex place and the region!

Nice place! just a step away from the nice and clean private beach. The city center is about 5km from the apparment. You'll find there all you need for your stay. Excellent hospitality! Alex is very welcoming and does everything to help and make our stay agreable. He reserved a table for us in a nice bar and we watched together the Final Euro 2021. He also offered coffee and biscuit for breakfast although it's not included.

It was just awesome!

The stay was absolutely awesome! The villa has everything needed for a comfortable rest, from the tiniest details such as kitchenware for every taste to the air conditioner and a canopy outside for a comfortable pastime under the shadow. The view from the villa is just stunning! Also, the location is extremely quiet and will be appreciated by families with children. The beach needs a separate mention. First of all, it's private and thus it's almost empty. Secondly, the entrance to the sea is very gentle. And thirdly, it has an umbrella with beach chairs. Last but not least is the host. Alexis is incredibly caring and ready to help by the first request. He gave us an extraordinary level of comfort pastime. Also, Alexis told us a lot of historical facts about Greece and gave us a tour of the hill nearby. It was very memorable.
