Athos Sea Villa

Превосходный отдых на берегу эгейского моря. Вила просторная и чистая. Мы отдыхали семьёй с тремя детьми и все комфортно разместились. Выход к пляжу с хороши баром позволяет пользоваться инфраструктурой пляжа. Вечерами можно сидеть в беседке или на террасе. У вас будут соседи, но это совсем не доставляет проблем.

Все было прекрасно!

I will start with pointing out that Athos Sea Villa is an great choice for your family vacation. It is located steps away from a nice beach - you basically walk out of the backyard and you are there. It is very suitable for families with young kids with the proximity to the beach and the spacious yard. The villa itself is very well furnished, the kitchen is equipped with everything you might need for preparing a home-cooked meal, BUT there is no dishwasher, so consider that which, in my opinion is a minor problem. The hosts had left ice cold water in the fridge upon arrival which was a pleasant surprise. There was also some tea and coffee capsules for the first days, a fact that we greatly appreciated. the internet connection was very good

The house was impeccably clean and cosy. The one thing that I would like to address is the lack of storage space in the top floor bedroom - limited to a rack which is a bit inconvenient but bearable. Generally speaking, it would have been the perfect place, unless the beautiful spacious yard was SHARED with the neighbouring villa. The houses are sharing a wall and are basically one building with separate entrances. Once you are out in the yard though and even at the terrace, you have the feeling that you are staying together with other families. Since each villa can accommodate up to two families this makes a total of 4 families sharing a yard, as well as the owners of the neighbouring villa who were staying in a small bungalow in that very same yard - so 5 groups if every family is there on their own. If you are looking for privacy, which here was limited to none, this might not be your place. I would recommend that this is pointed out in the description because it could really be disappointing if you expect to be on your own which was exactly our case. Another thing worth mentioning is that even though the house is located not far from the city it is, though outside of Ouranopouli on a road with no side walks and place to walk, this making it quite dangerous to walk to the city, especially in the hours of darkness.
